Plaque is an invisible sticky layer of bacteria. Food partials stick to it and the calcium salts in your saliva join with it to form calculus or tartar. Brushing and flossing can help prevent this from happening. It will destroy the bone, and the teeth will become loose.

I think this is the only time these people have ever been to a dentist. I don't think people just let there mouth get let this by choice and lack of caring. Probably works in a part of the world where a dentist is a luxury

Smells like a canal

As a dental nurse for all of my working life, I can guarantee that the doctor and his assistant would have been very grateful for their masks because the smell coming from this guy's mouth/ breath must've been horrendous! And I'm betting he was in agony afterwards when the air hit those teeth that had been covered in tartar for God knows how long. The best advice I can give him is to buy a toothbrush because those teeth haven't seen a brush for a looong time!

Jgn rajin2 amat bro. Cukup 2 kali sehari aja. Gw nyesal banget karna terlalu rajin sikat Gigi. Dulu tiap makan berat atau makan cemilan selalu sikat gigi, bisa sehari 5-7 kali. Alhasil email gigi gw berkurang dan sering ngilu. Skrang gw jarang sikat gigi dan lebih banyak kumur2 ketimbang sikat gigi biar ga ngilu lagi gigi gw😭😭😭😭😭😭

cukup teratur saja jngn berlebih, makan adalah proses perawatan gigi terbaik, jadi kalau bisa pakai semua gigi saat makan, penumpukan karang gigi juga diakibatkan oleh karena gigi jarang dipakai

Maybe this person was never taught how to properly care for them and just gave up. And it doesn’t matter the reason because we should all be respectful and sympathetic towards them anyways

Are the patients under anesthesia?? Also, what happens with the gums after leaving? I just had a deep cleaning a few days ago and was treated for gingivitis. I had no idea it was that bad because my mouth looked okay. I wonder what this person was diagnosed with? I hope they are okay after all of that work. The scaling I had actually hurt!
