    The tartar eats away at the gum and the bone holding in the tooth, so even though they don’t have cavities they will still lose their teeth most likely

    True, but excessive tartar accumulation leads to gum recession and loosening of the teeth. Beyond a point, there is no option other than to extract the offending tooth. So periodic tartar removal is very important for the integrity of the teeth.

    @@alexandrkovalev5082 it is only advisable to completely remove a tooth if it's beyond saving. Every dentist knows that, that's why they will/should always see if any other methods can work first. Removing a tooth permanently will cause deformity on your jaw bone, which will alter your facial structure. And judging from what I can see in this video, there's not a single tooth that needed extraction.

    I’m happy this person got the help she needed. No judgment here. Don’t know what led up to this buildup. Hopefully she keeps it up. How did he removed a tooth and there’s no hole remaining? Seemed as if there’s three other teeth in that same spot; amazing. I’m thanking you on behalf of her tongue. It now has the proper space to move around. By the way, your background sounds like waves at the beach. Excellent job all around❤🎉.

    Mostly the build up is from not chewing on this side for a very long time (in this case it seems like the reason was retained primary tooth, which he extracted, was causing the pain during chewing, so the patient avoided eating on this side). Chewing food especially the hard food is a type of natural cleansing for plaque, thats why the other side looks much cleaner. The reason there is no hole after extraction is because it was a retained primary tooth with resorped roots so it was held only by the gum (you can see the displaced permanent tooth below it after the extraction).

  • @ceciliaj3148

    @ceciliaj3148

    Im a dental nurse and a big part of my job is holding the tube. Most patients (even if you dont even realize it yourself) move their tounge and jaws very much. This makes the tube get stuck in the toung and cheeks. That will make water fill up pretty quickly. Some patients actually follows the tube with the toung. I cant always hold the tube close to the throat because if you move the tounge the tube can trigger a gag reflex and you will literally drown lmao. Anyways, it most likely is your fault (not saying you do it on purpose, but without you realizing) the water collects. On some patients its very easy to get almost no water in the back, but most its really hard.
