Good video. But be careful if running less than 4 ohms with only using only 4ga wire and I assume stock battery. That amp won't last long and needs more battery and larger wire.

Thanks for the advice man! I'm already thinking about another battery, but 0 gauge is def coming soon. Already did the big 3. Just gotta get some money together for wires

I havent had the smart 3k but ive heard its better

I got 2 of those on 2 re platinum 18s at half ohm each there nasty little amps

The smart 3 bass is 50mm exactly just dont fit over sized so i bought duel inputs from toolmaker specific to smart 3 and they work perfectly you could get the 4g to 1/0 input

No the bass 3k only has 4 guage inputs so thats what im running

@@loganduchon your gonna burn your shit down if your not careful, 4 guage wont handle 3k rms well. Doubt ur even gettin close to rated power on stock. That bass 3k has been seen to hit 7k in burps with rated power

@@jdmsolara6726 naw your wrong it can run 4 gauge because I did it for a year and nothing happened the amp is not that big because it’s bridged so I assume 4 gauge is just fine but yes 0 is better but if something is designed for something then your good but if he put 4 in a 0 then it would be a problem! And my sht was hitting!

What fuse did you run?

yes rockford does come with it but you have to buy the amp for subwoofer sucka

Ive installed a rockford t2500 for a system with a T2S216. I like Rockford's products they are high quality and built like tanks, but gah damn they're expensive haha. Get what you pay for though. I have a t2s216 sitting in my basement waiting for another project or to sell at some point.

Settings change depending on your subs and how much power your car can provide. I would suggest you watch a video on the right way to set an amp if you got any questions !!

People make “shitty install videos” because not everyone drives a 97 accord. No one cares except the 7 people with a 94 accord who happen to install a taramps and want to hide the wire.

@@matt6951 No 0 Guage inputs, loud fan, and the fan would make a clicking/scraping noise frequently. Not to mention that the crescendo is build like a tank compared to the taramps
