Right thats why we stayed with the ddx anything bigger I was gonna have to basically redo everything. Box, amp, alternator, big 3. It would have been months tryna get her back playing

I have a DDX 12 D4 in my Mustang GT 5.0 on an Audiopipe 15001d. Only running at 950w @ 2ohms right now in a small ass sealed box. Gonna buy another DDX 12 and build an aeroport box 3.5-4.0cu ft to put in the Genesis Sedan 5.0 I just picked up and I'm gonna put them on an Rp2k. I'll probably buy a DDX 12 D2 and build a custom 2-2.5 cu ft aeroport as well so I can run it @ 1ohm on the AP for full power. Looking forward to both whips having some proper muscle in the trunk. Nothing crazy though, still want some usable trunk space in both and still be able to flex a lil. Appreciate the video bro keep the content up!

Bro please put sound deadening. I have the same car. Trunk filled will foam all trunk panels deadened and all doors. Floor next. And I started with the same battery as and extra . Don’t get me wrong it was hitting hard !! Went on Amazon and got one of those 100 amp hour agm……. 😎 BRUH!!!!!! 14.4-14.7 constantly as long as you charge it once a week. !!!! Had neighbors windows shaking. 2 15’s 2 3k’s imma just say yes sirrrr!!! These car seem to be made to beat out!!!!

Mines is connected to the amp. The red wire on the voltmeter goes in the remote of the amp. And the black wire on the voltmeter goes in the negative of the amp. That way you seeing real ti.e voltage that your amp is actually getting

Listen kinfolks, Gp car audio has boxes that ranges in frequency between 37hz down to 29hz. Get the high output xl thats 40" wide x 14.25" High x 23" depth. Its worth it mane!

use spacer rings around the subs you build them up so you don't have to cut into your boxes and your subs will fit perfectly

How do you like the ddx? Sounds like you’re getting alot more bang and your voltage is holding strong. Try to return the amp to match the subs the bass definitely sounds way different compared to your sdr subs. I’m gonna post a video in a few days of my single zvx 12”. My experience with Skar has been great. Keep bangin 🔥🔥🔥

It always recommended to ground to the frame (chassis) of a car. But you can find good grounds in the car as well
