I just installed a js 320 in my car today and not getting the correct voltage at idle 😢 only reads 13.0 at idle but when i hit throttle goes up😊

Are you on stock electrical or just stock alternator or upgraded just wondering im trying to get an idea of how much I can run on a stock alternator I've got all 0 gauge OFC wiring and i just bought a ioxus ultra cap battery and a 74AH lithium battery to upgrade my power supply since I can't upgrade the alternator in my newer car

Here in STL if you go to the parts store and tell them you need any size in inches smaller of a belt they can't help you anywhere. I have been told part number or no belt. I'm a automotive tech and work in shop and still get the if you don't have a part number we can't help.

Ive installed a rockford t2500 for a system with a T2S216. I like Rockford's products they are high quality and built like tanks, but gah damn they're expensive haha. Get what you pay for though. I have a t2s216 sitting in my basement waiting for another project or to sell at some point.

I had a similar issue with my kicker 1800 only accepting 4 gauge, I bought reducers that allow me to run 0 gauge wire on one side and have a 4 gauge knob on the other side.

Still doing great. I haven't had a single problem with it and it seems to be holding up fine. My only complaint is that I get the smallest little bit of belt squeal on startup after a hard rain. Most likely due to the belt size but my belt fits fine and isnt giving me any other hassle so im not changing it. Overall a great purchase. These alternators also crank way harder on starts in the winter. If your battery is low or dying, just one spin from these suckers will get you moving. Haven't had to deal with a dead battery since installing it.

You probably want an amp pushing 2000 watts or above so the amp can have some headroom. Running that type of power you probably should do a big 3 upgrade and consider an extra battery and alternator

Ok good u got bigger wire hopefully ofc wire the sub lower if u can I had the x 15 on my crescendo 4k wired at .5 and it took it no problems I'd suggest getting you a xspower d3100 or some lithium but your going in the right direction bro nice job but once u put alt on rewire the sub lower if u can it will take it

I hope you aren't running the same 4 gauge wire I have that amp and I've clamped 7450 watts wired at half ohm its basically a 5k board it's also the same board the ruthless 4500 has and same board as the synergy wfo 5k but yea get some 0 gauge ofc bro that amp not no punk love mine

Great progression my man. Due to surgery and covid I got super lazy and literally didn't enter a gym for the last 2 years. Just started my routine backup about two-and-a-half months ago and just hit 275 for 5 last night. For me that's getting a little impressive due to the fact I've never been a huge weights man. I've trained Muay Thai for 30 years so for many years it was all about core strength and twitch muscle. As I'm getting older and now I pretty much just trained other people and hold pads now I can actually slam the iron and bulk up without worrying about it affecting my capabilities in the ring

I took both the factory wires from the battery as well as my own 0 gauge and put them on the positive. Didn't have to touch the sense on my car

@@FB6Eldred idk about that but depending on how low you wanna get youre gonna want a really big box. The box that my kicker was in is meant for a sundown x12 and its tuned to 32hz with box specifications from sundowns official website. Its a pretty big box for a sub like that kicker but it was SUPER loud compared to when i put it in a prefab box

@@FB6Eldred you should be alright just do some research on tuning an amp. If you can monitor voltage and properly tune the amp you will never have to worry about blowing them or harming your electrical system. With this sub I didn't really care about blowing it because I was moving to a different sub, but it still survived the settings I put it on
