I grew up in the country, so I grew up around old-time general stores just like this one in Jonesville, Tx. I've been in this store before. It's kinda like going back in time, and definitely brings back great memories of my childhood. God bless everyone, and to Him goes the praise.

This is truly an American treasure. Small town stores are near to my heart, having a mother who worked in one for decades. My first gun purchase, my first appliances, the first bicycles for my kids, all bought at the same store- Simon's Hardware in Hoquiam Washington. Kudos to you for making this video.

I suspect a family connection here as “my people” were from East Texas generations back. What a wonderful place...and so nice the family stepped in to continue the legacy. This is definitely on my list of places to visit

My first job was working at a country store in Frelsburg Texas. One day I'd be loading feed, the next day fixing the roof, and the next repairing chainsaws. It was quite the experience. Thanks for the video

My grandfather (RIP) use to talk of the big wheel of cheese at the general store (circa 1920s Prarieville, Texas)

I have been to a store like this over half a century ago when I was ten years old on vacation with my parents. It belonged to a old lady. Lord I bet she has been dead a long time.
