Good stuff. I was raised in that community and still live here. At one time, there were 4-5 country stores within a bicycle ride. Piedmont community started out being called “Mount’s Crossroads”. It was formed after the civil war by former Union soldiers. Because of mail mixups between places with the name “crossroads”, Mount’s Crossroads became Piedmont. We have photos of the store in its very early days.

7:42 $5.99 for a clubhouse sandwich is a nice deal. I paid $15.95 two days ago at my local pub. It did come with fries but even with the $2.49 she charges for fries its still a good deal.
