When mama says...we HAVE TO live forever...My heart 😭
It's OK, we heard you - "every house NEEDS a header"!
This is a very difficult disability to deal with, kudos to the parents for the magnificent job they're doing.
I love the way George related to Zack when he initially didn't want to go in. I wonder whether he has a weighted blanket , they're very much like a hug
looks stunning! Once Zac has time, he will love it. Sensory overload.
Travis is a true contractor ....why is the f***ing couch important ..... I was dying
Contractor and designer had me rolling 🤣
I wasn't surprised Zach had a problem with the "new house". Austistics have problems dealing with changes. I was surprised nobody gave thought to that ahead of time.
My son has autism as well and he loves to give hugs and kisses. He went to preschool with a child who was nonverbal and wanted to give everyone a big hug. Children on the spectrum can be very sweet, emotional and empathetic towards others, whether they can talk or not. My best wishes to this family and their son to help him find independence in his daily life.
Best line ..."why is the couch important?"....Travis, Ann Marie and George are the dream team.

Very deserving family , beautiful rescue, beautiful child ❤️❤️🇬🇧
Travis reminds me of my friend who always gets drag into shenanigans and have no idea what's going on lol
weighted blankets and pillows and stuffies are great for autistic and adhd or add kids and helps them relax and helps the family relax into teenagers and adults soft music is another thing that helps
Zach loves hugs and wrecking-balls into walls. Hmm George found a long lost brother. :)

LOL... Right?!!? :D
As an epileptic-autistic this episode really hit a cord with me.
I have high functioning autism and sever adhd 😀
Zach reminds me of my nephew who was diagnosed with exactly the same thing, right down to the Hyper Activity. He used to move constantly, it started with spinning and running, all the time, right up until he quite literally fell down to sleep for a few minutes to maybe a couple of hours. It wasn't until a woman that specialized in Autism tried weighted pillows and vests that D's parents finally really got a chance to see their son relax. We don't know why it worked but it did. Zach reminds me of him because D loved anything that was snug around him, chairs, pillows, hugs etc.... I don't know if you will read this, and even if you do, if you will contact the parents with this message, but I had to try.

I'm autistic and actually have an answer to this! Zach and D's brains are hyposensitive to proprioceptive input (probably vestibular too) and so they're constantly trying to get the input their brains need by running into things, getting hugs, etc. You can get proprioceptive input by anything that gives your body pressure so by giving D weighted pillows and vests he was able to get the input his brain needed without banging into things and running around! If D still does the running and spinning thing I'd recommend a sensory swing that he can spin around on, certain ones like "cuddle swings" give proprioceptive input too which he'd probably like.
Zack is adorable, and the team done a great job on this house, but autistic children are very sensitive to noise, so maybe someone should of warned the team to do a silent hand clap when the family came out, the clapping and cheering frightened him and he ran back to the house.
This show really touched my heart i have a Autistic nephew and he and Zack are a lot alike very deserving family .
That's tough! I had a foster son with autism and ADHD, so I know the situation that this family is going through.
Omg I love Zack such a awesome kid I love how he would not go in the house it was all different and he was just looking like no this ain't my house lol such a cute little bear.. I would love one of his famous Zack near hugs such a sweet boy .. ❤
I wish I could meet George olifine aka George to the rescue
Think this is my second favorite episode. It made me cry almost as much as our own rescue. Love the renovation and the love this family has for their son....his smile and hugs are amazing!

This one was quite heartwarming, happy with them!
Great looking family!
How does a person contact someone to find out about renovating a home for a family member?? I've got the person who could truly use this. He's so deserving.

Great makeover. Good job. Both father and son: get off sugar immediately. Do a ketogenic diet and dad intermittend fasting. Please read about it. Check Dr. Berg here on youtube

If you are not a specialist of any sort, and cannot see these people to do a proper diagnosis, then you're giving medical advice that they should ignore. You're the kind of person who does more harm than good with your "advice," especially since the keto diet is not a cure all, nor is it even healthy for most people.
These parents are amazing! Such a deserving family.
