I felt all of the fathers heart and I say Hallelujah with him! What a sweet and deserving family! Thanks George to the Rescue for making a difference in peoples live among the chaos and confusion and suffering. It's a breath of fresh air and brings tears to my eyes for all of the families.

Wow....a child with cancer AND a house fire??? What a spectacularly deserving family and what wonderful people. Proud, strong, capable yet also genuinely, authentically humble and grateful. What a powerful model. Here's wishing the best for Jude and this delightful family.

Really liked the designer on this one. She seems very comfident and friendly and the final product is beautiful!

I love George to the Rescue, love this family but the DADS reaction is my favorite from any George to the Rescue episode. I LOVE HIM. All the people and companies that contribute are truly awesome. Prayers for this family and this little boy whose spirit is strong and bright.

Happy tears into my coffee this morning watching this!! This family has had 2 huge burdens no family should have to deal with and were so deserving. The fathers gratefulness especially made me heart explode with happiness!! Thank you George and Eli Manning!!

George is amazing to do this for families going through hard times. I think that George has heart. For him to help families with children with cancer really touches my heart.

The generosity of the trades people and suppliers is amazing. Although George mentions their names on the show this does not reflect the amazing contributions that they all provide. They should all be justifiably proud of the difference they have made to this deserving family . Well done .

@@overgrownkudzu - And you're aware that none of this would even be possible if it wasn't for the fact that those tradespeople and suppliers donate their time and products right? Products and labor are not cheap so it's only right that the people and businesses involved should be mentioned. What little 'free advertising' they receive from being mentioned on this show really isn't too much to ask in relation to the value of the products and services they're providing, again, without it none of this would even be possible. I know I'm not the only one to say that I'm far more inclined to support the companies providing the products and labor than I would just some random company who's annoying ads are everywhere. If you don't like it then don't watch.

yeah, here in the UK we have a very similar show, DIY SOS, but as it is a on a public network (BBC) all of the trades and indivduals that volunteer time have their shirt logos covered and don't get any publicity. Their participation is entirely for the good of the recipients and is not for commerical gain in any way.

The Father's reaction is priceless. He has such amazing gratitude. The whole family is beautiful.

They def won the best reaction ever. But def deserving family and then to see how happy and excited they were was the best part. The kids are so sweet and smart on top of it all. Loved all of this episode from the family to George, the designer and all the people that put the work in to do this project and how fast they did it. Major hours in a short period of time isn’t something just anyone would do. All the volunteers and donations it’s crazy. Good people still exist!

Almost cried when he said brain tumour that fkg sucks😢

All of George to the rescue shows are amazing but this one tops them all. To see people be so grateful is the icing on the cake! I really liked her too, although I did have to kind of question her 'modern' choices for the furniture; considering the family appeared to have very traditional taste in furniture originally. Unless maybe that furniture wasn't actually theirs since they lost everything in the fire? As long as they like it that's what matters.

So grateful to George for helping this family. We all need a little help every now and then.

As usual, a B E A utiful rescue but the most beautiful piece, for me, was the parents' amazing, well-placed gratitude and joy!

It is so good to see a show like this, helping people who really need it. I wish we had more of this type of thing on network television and cable TV shows, as well as in the news. I'm so sick of all the negativity and the rampant corruption in Washington, I want to know that there is still more good in the world than bad and rotten. Thank you for this show.

J Annibal agreed! I love this show and the Bob Hartman show I think it is. I forget the name but he goes out and finds inspiring people who do great things in their communities and such. I love watching shows where people help and give to others. A break from the mainstream negative stories we see every day.

I am sending my prayers for your boy....God always listening to me..The house looks spectacular, I am very happy for the family..God always has a plan some times he put us through things that we don't like or we can understand, but God God is preparing us for what will come next.

Not always the whole house but several different companies volunteer.

I just discovered this show since I’ve been in self isolation. I know it’s been around for awhile but I’ve never come a crossed it on KZread before. Anyway, I don’t think I’ve watched one of these that I haven’t cried with joy and/or gratefulness of being blessed to have what I have. This is an amazing show. So uplifting! I'm new to GTTR . please tell me they recycle everything they can. Leaving your home country, a fire or a child with cancer is too much, but all three??? So happy this all came together...and Eli Manning??? How cool is that?

As for using products and services that are promoted in the programs: I have done many houses and alone half way through a big one early on. The products and jobs done are good and something that can make your own projects better. I for one am grateful they helped make the programs possible.

I'm surprised this guy doesn't have a couple million subscribers!!
