JAW-DROPPING Kitchen Renovation for a Big-Hearted Foster Family | George to the Rescue

Early on in their marriage, Jackie and Howard Simms, two caring and compassionate lifelong educators, were told they would not be able to have children. However, in a miraculous story of hope, healing, and defying the odds, they have witnessed their family grow in the most wondrous of ways. Not only did they go on to have three biological babies despite their original medical prognosis, but years later also found themselves on a unique fostering to adoption journey, and were blessed with the opportunity to impact lives and invest in the next generation by welcoming three amazing young adults into the Simms family fold.
Watch as 'George to the Rescue' crew transforms the home of this joyous and close-knit group, whose ultimate dream was to have a more durable kitchen/dining area - the heart of their home - that would accommodate their large blended family so that they could all come together to cook meals, spend quality time, and comfortably sit at the dinner table to break bread and share laughs. The GTTR team, guided by host George Oliphant and interior designer Chasity Torres-Centeno, achieved just that with an open-concept plan, along with a surprise living room renovation that features a wall of stunning framed photos of this loving family making memories.

This was definitely a match made in Heaven - George to the Rescue and the Simms family! So much loving given from both!
I love George to the rescue bc unlike other shows that fix people’s homes and tear down the old house and build mansions to replace them leaves those families in massive debt bc they can’t pay the taxes. Seems like this team actually cares about these families not just trying to make money.

Thankyou for helping thease people I was once a foster kid but I was aboned from my foster parents so hang on to what you have and respect it and work hard to help them I only long for a family to call family besides my own kids now things can quickly become overwhelming when you have no one to help you with any thing or even house repairs I give and help so many people and no one is ever their when I need help in my own house I'm left to do this on my own it gets very overwhelming to do so please respect your mom and dad and rember that they are always thier for you some day they will be gone like my family I'm so happy for you folks thanks for taking thease kids inn and giving them a family and putting aside your own needs 1030airzona

I wish that I had a loving foster like this, but unfortunately I lived with a worthless foster family where there were 6 people in the house all together the 5 other people that lived in the house treated me like s**t I put up with it until I graduated & I cut all ties to the 5 other people the foster parents aren't foster parents aren't foster anymore thank goodness they aren't anymore.
