I love Jeremiah. He is so sassy and smart, yet humble. He is just PERFECT for Nate. They both have incredible ideas and balance each other out. They are just too cute and extremely talented. Love this show!!!!
Love that Jeremiah wants to keep the cabinets! Save lots of money to use for other things.
These guys are the best on HGTV . These guys are all about impeccable taste and elegance . Salute .

✨💖✨Lol. I know, right? The bones of the house are great. I’m sure the size, location, property fit their wish list. No doubt when they bought it, they were pinging with ideas. We’ll paint; we’ll learn; we’ll do this and we’ll do that. Life happens, money get’s tight, things breakdown, and they found themselves in a project house and didn’t know how to or where to start. Been there. Currently live there. We’re putting in the new floor in the coming weeks. I hope.

We bought our current home because of the size, location and price point. We didn't love all the wallpaper, it's long gone and the 3rd bathroom, laundry and kitchen and storage room are awful 😳😝. But we are about to tear it down and make it more functional and beautiful. It takes time and money and sometimes we run out of both 🤷🙄
THIS is the kind show I want to see on HGTV! I stopped watching because of the lack of real interior design shows. Nice job Nate and Jeremiah 👍🏽
the choice of a blue color for the cupboards is so unusual. it is gorgeous! 😁
Love Nate and Jeremiah.
I would love to have Nate and Jeremiah redo my house. They have awesome style.
What a STUNNING MAKEOVER...... wish we could do that to our home. Amazing guys!!!!

It's fun and interesting to see how the interior design differed between Europe and the United States in the 80's. In Sweden we never had brown shades and a lot of wood in the 80s. Everything would be white, black and gray along with glass and chrome. As a color scheme we had pink, yellow, turquoise, purple, light blue and red such as pastel colors. We were very influenced by the Memphis group and everything that was Italian. The 80's decor I see in the video belongs to the late 70's. And it's hated forever.

That design is not 80's but 70's. The 80s in the US had similar designs as Europe. Older people would design their homes this way in the 80s. If you look at 80s movies and TV shows, they do not have the homes designed this way.

it's funny, I can now look at a house/apartment/duplex and just KNOW what "era" it was built in. Like, in the 90s, somehow everyone thought that an angled kitchen counter and weird corners was super cool. Uh. Not. And now 10-20 years down the road everyone will have that "grayed out" wood on their floors and cabinets, and people will hate them, LOL.

I agree. I'm in Canada, and the 80s was all white & black with pink and turquoise. Lots of plastic and chrome. That house says "70s" to me too.

pretty amazing job! LOVE the kitchen color choice and general upgrade. Well done!
Since I don't have cable, I watch a lot of YT to get my fix with different shows. I really like Nate and Jeremiah. They are pretty down to earth, unlike some other design, reno, sell your house shows that I watch. I will say, I know some of these shows are scripted to an extent, but the husband in this one rubbed me the wrong way. The fact that he said that his wife was somewhere at some store picking out countertops, he hoped that she was making good choices. OMG! The arrogance of that statement that he wasn't sure to trust his wife to make a design choice for THIER home. It was obvious that he couldn't DIY himself out of a paper bag!
Did they even know of furniture before Nate and Jermiah walked into their lives.
Nate & Jeremiah put their hearts into this project❤

❤ Nate and Jeremiah !
Perfect!
Love. Love.Love.
Superb design
This guy Jeremiah looks like anything but someone who deals with this kind of work, showing up dressed as if he were on the way to a dinner party. Gotta love that. Too many of the HGTV houses look like showrooms, and not really made for people with children. Kids tend to be quite messy, and when designers choose all of that light-color furniture and elements, don't take into account stains all over the place from spilled milk or juices. Don't even get me started on the open-space kitchen islands requiring maintenance to look presentable 24/7. Otherwise you'd just close the door till you're done with everything.
They're the upscaled more sophisticated version of Chip and Johanna!
Everything was great except the kitchen cabinet hinges and knobs/pulls color. It looks lost with that blue. I would have invested in gold tone / gold satin hinges and knobs/pulls. It would have went great with that beautiful blue color. It would have made those cabinets pop more.
This is a much more realistic budget for most. Looks good
I would have never changed the original wooden floors, just polish them or so. Otherwise, beautiful work.

I think the way she spoke to him was just a setup for the cameras to add more conflict and drama. A couple getting the design services of renown designers at no cost, let alone free furnishings, would do whatever they were asked to do (within reason) for the TV show.

@@soniaharrison1016 I hear you! I wouldn’t, you wouldn’t, a lot of other people wouldn’t either. Given that Nate and Jeremiah’s services must cost a bundle, together with free furnishings, I just assumed that this couple did it for the money. Maybe you’re right and I’m wrong 🤷♀️ and she’s just a nasty person. BUT…from what I’ve read there are reports of HGTV shows with situation set ups. On Love It or List It I’ve read that they’ve already made their decision and there is no debate. On Chip and Joanna’s old show the couple had already bought the one for renovation, the “showings” of three homes at the beginning include the one they’ve bought. I find it hard to believe that the couple on Property Brothers had never seen the show and didn’t realize the spectacular home with everything on their wish list was out of their price range, so forth and so on. TV, who knows?

Right. I guess for people who hire interior designers they do have a larger budget that they're used to. The fact that design service isn't free and didn't tell us how much their services cost it's not a true $30k budget.

What are the differences between these and the property brothers!
Idk, the living area is still filled with dark and bulky formal pieces. The flr is a weird sort of walnut brown. It's not fresh or young. The kitchen is nice.
Light colored chairs, huh? And they have how many kids? Well, good luck with that.
Love the overall look but feel the dining room table is a bit dark and dated
This is so crazy. "$30,000 is not a lot." Baloney. That interior could be changed completely by new paint, personal art, and new window treatments. Especially, open the blinds and let some light in. Before painting the exterior, try some landscaping. Don't paint the kitchen cabinets. No paint will hold up as well as the factory finish put on by professionals.
