I find that with our society becoming so online oriented the MOOC is a great tool that can help its students if done correctly. this video really gave me a great understanding as to what a MOOC is and how to be a successful student in it. The best part of this video in my opinion is the "5 steps to succeed in a MOOC". this gave me a great understanding on what to do to get ahead in the class.
Great video. Thanks you Dave Cormier for creating and sharing it!
That has certainly been my experience: no matter how interesting the course, your mind can start to wander about half way through.
Massive Open Online Course. You're welcome :)

Just Amazing Dave! You know how to make complex things "simple". Loved your video!
Wow...you must think so highly of me. *tears of joy* My parents always thought I was a disappointment. (reference to the title and my last name)☺
after 11 years i found this vid very useful thank you Dave
A really nice simplification of networked learning through "MOOCs". Thanks Dave and all, this will help explain things to many.
Thank you - elegantly simple, clear and effective. Good to watch... I now want to make some of these myself.
Thanks, Dave It makes a lot of sense. In this world today, social interaction is becoming more and more important--and it harnesses a power that can move people and produce actions. So your message is very appropriate
Thank you for this video. I feel much more comfortable beginning my very first MOOC. I appreciate the encouragement and tips on how to get started.
I am so excited to have found the Creator Academy. A little nervous about getting through all the lessons in time with this late start though. Thank you everyone for your inspiration.

Hi Dave thanks a great video. It has helped me to see where I have come from in the last week and where I am headed.
I think that social networking tools are useful for up to about the clustering, but the MOOC creates a moment that helps drive the Focus. Great video!

Being able to take part of the Creator Academy is such an awesome opportunity!
I like how it puts mooc in all caps
It comforts me greatly to learn that the thread that bonds us, my Creator Academy Brothers & Sisters, is the power of the almighty Thingamajigits (nods to Chanceless for pointing me towards a spelling for this energetic word that is oh so fun for the mouth to say). All hail Thingamajigits and the course by which it shall lead us!
Thanks!
