Kudos to Türkiye for being so respectful to stray cats and dogs.

Salute to you Turks for the love n affection you show towards dogs n cats.

Istanbul is an interesting place. They have a huge respect for stray cats too, which wander in and out of shops and restaurants and get fed by the locals. Bacalar in Quintana, Mexico is a dog-friendly place too. It’s nice.

exactly what i thought ! poor dog is stuck in a loop .maybe his owner dumped him on a train and the dog is trying to recreate his commute with the owner in hope of finding him !!!!!

If anyone wants to read about the original Bojie - research a dog named Just Nuisance. The most amazing dog story you will ever read. He traveled around Cape Town during WWII and thought he was in the Royal Navy - visiting all the pubs and drinking beer with the British sailors. He also protected them when they were in fights and led them back to the base when they were drunk. He became so beloved by the sailors he was “officially” admitted into the Royal Navy and given his own uniform. He was one of a kind - until Bojie.

The one that really hits me if the Japanese story of the dog "Hachikō." I believe the "Futurama" Episode with Fry's dog after Fry was frozen was based on Hachikō. Super sad/heartwarming story.

What a clever handsome dog and so well mannered and friendly. It's lovely that he is tolerated on the transport system. I'm sure he's made lots of human friends on his travels. 😊😊😊😊

This is the sweetest thing! What a clever and polite dog! I love how the Turks treat him well. My son rescued a dog from Moscow and named him Misha. This dog was a stray and could have been a Laika. He would ride the subways alongside my son, who brought him back to California. Misha attended lectures at Stanford with my son, got his honorary degree, and lived a happy and full life at Palo Alto and San Francisco. After he died of old age, my son made a Russian icon of him and put it up as a memorial. Misha was so independent and had such street smarts! Wonderful dog that was a great companion to my son in Moscow, Russia.

I have a dog just like Boji. A 45kg Bourbal Mastiff/German Shepard, though Boji is probably a bourbal cross something else. Incredible intelligence, walks off the leash, knows every command in the book. He's a loyal guardian but also stubbornly independent just like boji.

@@tomrishak3782 and didn't need it. he was fed by everyone else too for years and loved to travel. now he is just stuck in a place against his will. the koç family could do a better job by opening a shelter for hundreds of dogs who needed care instead of feeding boji caviars or something and keeping him from travelling.
