Stones Over Hitching Post - Strongman Event 6 Live Stream | 2022 Rogue Invitational

Спорт

Complete stream of the sixth and final event from the Strongman competition at the 2022 Rogue Invitational in Round Rock, Texas. Stone Over Hitching Post was the final and deciding event last year, as Martins Licis edged out Oleksii Novikov for the title. This year, the same event again stood as Novikov’s final obstacle to becoming Rogue Invitational Strongman champion. Could the Ukrainian get it done in the face of new challenges from Texan Trey Mitchell and Canadian Mitchell Hooper?
Stone Weights: 275LBS, 300LBS, 365LBS, 400LBS, 420LBS

Another fantastic competition presented by Rogue. Once again setting the gold standard for Strongman Competition. And the highest prize money to boot. Well done. - Great commentators - serious and respectful towards athletes, with an actual former competitor, not trying to be stand up comedians like WSM commentators - We see every athlete's attempt and a replay each time with analysis - All the information the viewer needs is on screen - time to beat, time remaining, weights clearly displayed, leaderboard of weights etc. - Great split screen, can see all the action from each athlete when they go head to head, not focusing on just one or going back and forth - Live streamed so we can watch as it happens, no paywall, video available on demand immediately if missed livestream - Unique and innovative events, each piece of equipment/stage is beautifully constructed - Great atmosphere outdoors in a stadium - Lots of rest for athletes between events - No backstage politics/drama/favourtism - Overall very organized and professional This should be regarded as the modernized Superbowl of Strongman. First great performance by all athletes and Novikov in winning the title, it was a great showing! The timekeeper repeatedly hitting Licis possibly injured arm/bicep, really was hard to watch. Other than that, again a great performance by all athletes

Not sure if you're taking about Stefan Solvi Peterson, but it's probably him. Former Iceland's number 1 before Hafthor's era began. Now, not really sure why he's retired. He seems still pretty young, why he's not competing for so many years is a mistery.

I love Trey and really wanted him to win especially after he went full beast mode on those stones, but Novikav showed up for the stones. Simple fact is, they have to wait for the down signal and the judges call it as they see it.

@Wappie My guess is that Trey or the Moose will be on the top spot of the podium before Pavlo. That being said, I think with more experience at the "big shows" and a bit more finesse and technique Pavlo could become a scary Juggernaut at a lot of strongman comps.

..thats a serious pull in martins pec..it could be a small tear..hopefully it won't require surgery.. ..maybe he should bench more..I know some strongmen treat bench as more a secondary movement ..but if you have a 600 bench .like say pavlo and he might not even have that .I think 585 pavlo has..but it really helps across the board on other events . ..your log press would skyrocket past 400 w a 600 bench..it's really key in this sport ..big Z had close to a 700 bench..if tom stoltman worked on his bench he'd definitely w another wsm title..I think tom doesnt even have a 500 bench .his brother luke might .
