Jon is such a good champion, and Capes is a great competitor who was very honorable in passing the torch.

Jon was an incredible athlete. Very well rounded. Fast, strong, and had good endurance. Capes was a great athlete too but was outshined by Kaz and Jon most of the time.

John Paul's a true inspiration and a man's man. Love how he had no complaints and won like a true good sportsman! Truly the best all around athlete. The best of his time and could've won even today with today's advancements in training.

Absolutely. You put him in today's world and make him adapt to today's training and nutrition standards, he'll win. A guy like Jon Pall had an unbreakable spirit that is timeless.

I've watched this a bunch of times. The poor African, Pius Ochien , only invite was in the snow. I understand it wouldn't of mattered in any weather. Maybe he got a vacation in the snow for the first time!

@@loizossantis3508 Almost all events were ones where Jon Pall usually won. And seeing as how both Kaz and Geoff had injuries, were past their prime and didn't have enough time to prepare I don't think Pure Strength was fair. Taking nothing away from Jon Pall though he was in excellent shape and simply the better man at that time.
