Stereotypes -- funny because they are true | Katerina Vrana | TEDxThessaloniki
Комедия
Stand-up comedian Katerina Vrana talks about stereotypes and makes us all believe that the reason that they are funny is that they are true. This 16 minutes performance has everything; from humor, inconvenient truths and family secrets, to the actress's plan for global domination. One thing is for sure: it will make you laugh wholeheartedly.
Katerina Vrana was born and raised in Greece. She went to study in the UK and stayed there. As an actress, she has appeared in TV series in Greece, stage productions in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as in short films in both Greece and the UK. As the well-known London arts magazine, Time Out, once reported "Katerina Vrana sparkles" on stage.
About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I'd laugh if someone made a joke about my death too. But I doubt those who love me would. Your obviously using the word 'loved' very lightly. There are people who love him, even though he's gone. That's called loss. Loss, If you've experienced it, is hard to laugh at.

Death is as precious as Life. From any loss there is a gain. They go together hand by hand.
She is so talented!
Hi everyone! I really enjoyed these 15 minutes. You make laugh so much, Katerina. I'm romanian and i actually live in Italy. Hugs!
I find her act surprisingly funny, she appears like these couchsurfers who just hitchhiked a long journey and showed up at your house, then later you decide to go to a pub and have this funny conversations about greeks and brits
I knew she was going to say "why can't you be like Canada" lol must admit we are very quiet and don't stick our nose in other countries business all that much. she so funny tho! I love her hair lol
