They started shooting at you cause you kept your weapon out when around them. Until you rank up, you're considered a liability, even to your allies. It's why they don't sell you AP ammo at the very beginning.

@@tsauce No worries, GAMMA has put alot of new mechanics in recently. Base furniture is amazing, you can make your own work bench, lighting, and storage with the basic tool kits.

I think it was the fact that you downed that one bandit by accident somewhere in that military skirmish, they just get mad at you for having a gun out, I've never actually been killed for having my gun out

@@CallMeAsty Really?! This was even in the first game, Shadow of Chernobyl, if my memory serves well. Only they warned you before they shot you, "no ruze o brow" or something like that they said. In English version "Put away your weapon!"

Aye bro your zero to hero series is genuinely one of the best. I started mid series and had to start from the beginning. I don't normally enjoy watching people play single player games but this is great man.

This is my fav way to start in stalker, a knife a few bandages and a pair of Bino's, playing like a sneaky opportunistic rat, sit on a hill watch a fight break out between humans and mutants and scoop the loot at the end and from there on in, snowball my way to glory.

Was enjoying using the mags mod for GAMMA at first, but to be honest it got old really quick, and then it was just super tedious, buggy, and eventually I just started a new playthrough (it's save-compatible to turn it on during a playthrough, but turning it off requires a new game sadly).

1) Are you using Expedition mod with GAMMA? Because it looks beautiful compared to my gamma. 2) how does reputation work? How can you change a faction? 3) how can I enable that backpack animation? Mine doesn’t do that

A bit late here, but if you enable the Ammo Check mod in MO2, you can bind a key to check ammo. It just takes a second and then pops up some text

Magazine Mod. If you want your game to be exactly like this, I'd recommend going through his "My GAMMA setup" vid. It'll also show you how to activate mods that base gamma has disabled by default, also how to configure the mods in game.

what difficulty settings are you on? the default medium for combat and economy? would've been good to see the start screen

@@tsauce Cheers and nicely done so far, you're literally the only player i've seen so far engage with the weapons system properly; not just using weapons that are in perfect condition and just needing to deal with some jamming, which is mostly the only drawback (unless the barrel on the gun is bad) and pretty straightforward. You also use cover and engage/disengage good too, you'd be great for an ironman playthrough :P Would be more your speed. maybe 3 lives +1 a day or something, maybe try out UNISG faction etc. Would be cool to watch. Either way nicely done!

There are stock weapons and modded weapons in the game together so you might have found different versions from mine, I haven't changed anything gun wise in the mod pack.

Have you added some of your own mods? Because my gamma doesn't look like this

It's a mod called FDDA it comes with gamma but you have to enable it in mod organizer and then turn it on in game through the mod configuration menu, I haven't experienced any game breaking bugs with it but other people have had issues but you can always disable it if you do

The gameplay cant be hard/survival, as the AI combats is kinda easy on your game. For my game it basically 1-3 hits and you bleed and left little health while you can still run up to axe them?

I wish tje char would drop the gun into a reting position when walking around. Noone just points it at everything lol they get havey after a while

Npcs never drop good weapons for me. Unless they're monolith/freedom
