The loot moving is from old models being replaced with new models, most notably with upgrade kits but might apply to other stuff. And stuff disappearing is from the skills, it's intended

I think it's also how difficulties work in Anomaly. The game drops default loot tables and if u're on higher difficulty some of the loot gets deleted. It is a prehistoric game engine after all :))

There is one more thing: Skills. If you see the Loot section of the Skills and Trait system you can see you actually have a change for loot to be lost

while i saw you fixing the guns, not sure if you noticed, but in EFP the cleaning kits work similiar to gamma but with some changes in progression. different cleaning kits have different thresholds where they can be used and below which threshold they have halved effectivness. See 1:08:59 Rusak Gun Oil can be used on guns above 25%, base repair is 6%. BUT at the bottom there is an explanation that if the gun is below condition of 60% the repair value ist halved i.e. 3% repair. The Repair progression would be: [Gun type] repair Kit above 1% +20%(support: Kerosene/Jerry Can +10%, industrial grease +7%, steel wool +7%, Hammer +5%)-> [guntype] cleaning kit above 20% +15%(support: steel wool +7%, industrial grease +7% or Kerosene/Jerry Can +4%)-> Hoppe's No.9 above 40% + 10%(support: Cloth mask +7%, steel wool +7%, camo tarpaulin +4%) -> Brunox above 50% +12% (support: steel wool +7%, cloth mask +5%, camo tarpaulin +4%) -> Rusak above 60% +6% (support: steel wool +7%, camo tarpaulin +4%, ductape +3%) -> Dvojka above 70% +15%(support: steel wool +7%, cloth mask +5%, camo tarpaulin +4%) Of course, if you can push a guns condition with a rusak above 40% thats totally ok (you only loose 3% repair amount), however after that you would then choose Hoppe's No.9. Depending on the guns condition and choosen support material you can sometimes skip one of the cleaning solutions, if your gun is at 51% and you use Brunox with steel wool, it will take you to 70% skipping Rusak.

@@tsauce I broke my efp 4.0 with a mod I added somewhere every time I try to start a new game in Rostok. It crashes even if I use the vanilla load order it still crashes I would need to reinstall but I can't be bothered to do all my work again. So I'm going back to Gamma that seemed to be far better with me adding mods and not breaking anything.

I used to hate the repair system, but it grew on me. There's something incredibly satisfying about slowly building up an awesome gun until you're finally able to use it. Apparently really satisfying to watch as well seeing as how the last bit of the video was one of my favorite parts. Going to be weird watching the next episode without the AK lol.

anomaly and EFP together is so amazing that i might just forget about stalker 2 , for someone who had never player stalker before this experience is amazing for me

I've noticed the loot moving/disappearing in stashes or on bodies in GAMMA as well. Not sure what's causing it, but it could be as simple as the loot list shuffling and displaying too early. Loving the look of EFP 4.0 so far! I'll have to try it once I get through GAMMA. Keep up the great work man!

So i just found out its part of the scavenging skill and i guess at a low lvl's stuff disappears.

Stuff disappearing is linked to the Skills mod. At low scavenging, you have a chance to lose items. Happens with harvesting mutants too. As your skills improve, you have a chance to "discover" extra loot.

It's more obvious in GAMMA but it's simply converting upgrade kits from anomaly/some other mod into upgrade kits that are actually being used. It's probably happening with some other items aswell but those are most noticeable. I have not played EFP but it seems to be the same here. I paused some of those kills and it's usually just a toolbox being replaced with another toolbox with icons on it (whatever they mean). It simply updates sooner compared to GAMMA where you need to take something out of the stash first.

@@tsauce It can also happen when old modkits do convert into new ones. In my game old ones which don't upgrade just disappear. You can change the chance for upgrading kits in MCM. If you have 100% nothing should vanish anymore as soon as you hit a certain level of scavenging skill.

Loot disappears out of their inventories/stashes for a few reasons. 1, vanilla upgrade kits will turn into streamlined kits when you go to take them out (like old ammo turns into other ammo). 2, if you look at your skills menu, you should see the 'scavenging' skill. You have a chance to lose items when searching based on your looting skill. Them disappearing is the script kicking in for that

Video looked much better today, for me at least. Picture quality was much improved and there was much less "tearing" as the camera moved around outside. Side arm with HydraShock is what I see others using. You will really burn ammo using only one type but that is something you have already found out ! = )

Same thing happens in gamma, pretty sure it's the old repair and upgrade kits from anomaly, they disappear and turn into the modded kits I think.

You can actually loot the bodies (the money in the bodies) in the Tournament by Arnie and adds up to your winning prize.

The stuff vanishing from the inventories is intentional, it's old upgrade kits that the game no longer uses, replaced by new ones. Sometimes they plain disappear and sometimes they get replaced by a different item but that takes a couple seconds so maybe if you check them again they have something

While i do miss the Gamma series, i do enjoy this series aswell. And I'd rather stick with the HK since it has the option of using the grenade launcher which the other gun doesn't.

It doesn't use the newest boom sticks but it has its own EFP gun pack which adds a bunch of new guns.

You can sell guns to the merchants but how my game is setup they will only buy guns in good shape and even then its not worth it because they will low ball you, For example the brand new HK i just built they offered me 7k for lol and that's for a almost perfect gun, my game setting are setup to make the economy really harsh and keep the progression super slow but i can still breakdown and take parts from all the guns i don't need so they still have some use to them, also glad you enjoy the vids thanks for watching!

whats the differnce between efp and gamma

I'm playing EFP 4.0 atm but i cant do it anymore, every stalker is a bullet sponge, especially with pistols. Animations are screwed up, other stalkers hold their guns in the air and some clip through their heads.

0:09 How do you zoom the gun without having any sights? What addon is it? Thanks

There is a zoom mod that does this though. I think it's just called "free zoom" or something, it's in GAMMA and could easily be added to EFP manually.

Whats the default button to unjam? Also, any advise on how to properly reload the mag without opening the inventory? Every time I press R to reload the gun, it makes the reload animation but no mag in the pistol.
