The one thing missing from this gem of a game is adding clutter and junk inside buildings. Would add so much when exploring the rooms

That's the one thing Fallout has over STALKER and by a longshot - way more interesting and detailed environments to explore.

Hey Tsauce, first off all this series is just wonderful and extremly good in quality, action and commentary!!!! i hope this goes for long time :D 2nd: i wanna play this too but Gamma has a very poor performance on my pc even with lowest settings maybe you have some tipps? i played other stalker mods and stuff and i can run all of them at max but this gives me a max of 27 fps on low ... (i tested the "vanilla" install of gamma without extra added mods) if not just ignore this and only read the first line xD

Downloaded gamma a couple of days ago thnx to drewski and you and i got so disappointed that it stutters for me even with the supposed "fixes". Guess a 1070 and i5 with 16gb ram just doesn't cut it anymore.

I hate to hear that man gamma was know for being one of the best running mods out there, might be do to some of the new updates grok has added, may have effected performance on some pc's unfortunately, if you want something similar i would give EFP a try i love that mod and you will get more fighting than in gamma it's more like a EFT single player not as laid back as gamma and i love that about EFT.

Oh man stalker is REALLY good, I played it for the first time In January of this year and it is now one of my all time favorite games. I would recommend giving it a try!

Hey man love the vids but I’ve got a question as I started playing GAMMA recently I noticed a difference between the loot when I kill an enemy they have 2-3 bullets and no mags but when you kill an enemy they have multiple magazines stacked with bullets? So is this like a difficulty thing or just an enemy type things or do ya think game has shit a brick

brother u must have a beastly PC to be running gamma on 4k 60+ damn, i been playing in a 1080p window on 1440 monitor to grab 80-100 frames on almost max settings so the game looks good

You should consider Should a playthrough SOC sometime, maybe with AA2 mod for some enhancements? It's still pretty amazing game and then you'll understand what took place those spots ur seeing in Pripyat, NPP and many others

this game is what tarkov could be maybe someday we will get a multiplayer version of stalker with faction leaders and quests and an open world with the level transitions

Just made a mod that has real life values for bullets in weight and velocity,made the weapons handle differemt the more they weight,if they are military weapons(muzzle brake,vertical grip etc).This is for taz and misery gonna be posted on moddb soon im testing it and it's sick.

Good vids a usual. One question: Why is it everytime I enter Pripyat, there are 3 to 4 of each monster not including Stalkers on my map? I lags so bad, unplayable. Monster pop set at .5 and human pop set to 1 Something terribly wrong. Any console command I can temp do to just get through the map? Is the map necessary to even enter. Can by ignored?

First time I entered Pripyat proper my frames turned into like 10 fps lmao there was controllers and dogs and like 10 monolith soon as I spawned it. Game was like a slideshow lol eventually it got better but yeah Pripyat and outskirts can be demanding

Hello quick question I just downloaded Stalker gamma and I’m not sure but in my game the guns don’t require mags to use. I’ve played EFP and know the mechanic so I just wanted to ask if you installed those gun mods after you installed gamma or were all those mods included in base stalker gamma?

It comes with gamma just not enabled you have to turn it on in the mod organizer but you also have to turn off a mod called "reload unjam on same key" to get it to work.

Which weapons are u using in this video? I never saw them in my playthrough

Hi, what kit do you have on the M4. Looks like the March-F and a laser dot. Is there a special laser attachment that works with the March-F?

I believe It's called the "hera" and it comes with the laser I just added a Suppressor and scope.

dying is part of stalker my friend you can save and just load it it back up and try again lol you should definitely give it ago, stalker is truly an amazing experience!

My game runs flawlessly in every location until I get to this one (Pripyat)! I get massive frame drops for some reason. Checked the discord to see if other people had the same problem but haven’t found a fix. Any tips? Did this happen to you at first?

how do you get such high fps in the cities?

I keep struggling a bit with the crafting/repair system. Do you think you could make/recommend a guide?

my tip: always keep scarfs for repairs, they can add up to 6% per repair. from what i have seen its the best/cheapest supplemental repair item in the game. If you strip or disassemble guns/armor keep any part >=60%, those can be fixed if needed with the corresponding repair tool. Check out your PDA, if you haven't already, there is a small guide there. The cheapest way to repair your suit/helmet (from my observation) is the Armor repair kit that looks like tow ductapes, it will work as long as your Armor is >=85. If you repair at 88% with a scarf you get 100% repair (6% kit + 6% scarf). Similar with a gun oil >=60% and a Scarf you can repair at 88% for 100% gun condition. Unlike with armor (where your components get repaired with any armor repairkit), sooner or later you will need to either swap gunparts for higher contition ones or fieldstrip the parts and repair them with the corresponding kit. there is a somewhat expensive kit where you can repair the barrel in the gun if you don't have a spare to swap. Thats about it i think.

And where are the RPG and gauss rifles shooters? In original version Shadows of Chernobyl they has a place to be.The walkthru would be difficult with them.

I'm too stupid for this game. I just cant get into it properly. I hesitate to leave Cordon since all my gear is shit and one scratch from a cat or a dog is enough to cripple me. I wish the threshhold was a bit lower so you could actually find some sort of momentum. I keep replaying it constantly because I love the immersion and the setting, but I wish it was a little easier to get started.

Are them players or ai?? Can u loot them?

They're very similar in some aspects but gamma focuses more on crafting everything and is a little more laid back then EFP when it comes to fire fights but you can adjust that in gammas settings, gamma also has a lot more mods and is always getting updates and crashes a lot less, I like both mods but gamma is killing it right now.

I wish it was easier to download. I downloaded anomaly but now I’m to scared to try to downaload gamma I’m afraid I’m gonna mess aowmthing up and not even be able to play anomaly

Join the discord, super friendly and helpful. Once you download the two folders needed just follow the steps. Theres even a video tutorial on there. As for not wanting to stuff up your anomaly game just make a copy to point gamma to thats separate from your main anomaly folder.

The cool thing about stalker anomaly is that's its drag and drop so if you mess up you can just delete it and drag and drop it again without having to worry about installing it, You can also have multiple stalker anomalys files on you're pc so you can keep an extra one to just play on and another one (or multiple) to experiment with, I have about 3 different files all have different mod packs on them.

Anyone playing gamma know where to get 5.45 or 5.56?

Sorry if I have to say this so honestly. The level architecture and the non-existent lighting and details make the new area neither particularly atmospheric nor convincing. If a modder can't create levels at a fitting level of quality, then they shouldn't implement them in the first place.
