This game deserves a modern rerelease. Heck, it could even get a PC port so to finally put it in personal video game flight combat collections.

You could merge the first two games pretty easily. The entire first game happens between levels 2 and 3 of the second. The Rogue Squadron versions of Hoth and the Death Star are already bonus levels, and then the Dark Empire level can be a bonus level. Not sure about how medals and unlocks would work, or if the third game can be Factored in.

@@bfish89ryuhayabusa Rogue Squadron and Rogue Leader are very fundamentally different though. It would make more sense to merge Rogue Squadron with Battle for Naboo, and then Rogue Leader with Rebel Strike. Especially since Rebel Strike already comes with a co-op version of Rogue Leader already built in.

hoshihearts omochaooo the tight space and maneuvering of easy venom with the speed of hard venom trying to escape

Sort of wish this level was a bit more like the movie, a few other fighters along with you to deal with TIEs and then halfway through the interior, that's when one is shot down and Lando orders the group to split up, thinning out the number of TIEs chasing you.

Better than watching Disney trilogy

I remember waiting for the school bus playing this mission, and after MANY failed attempts I got it 5 minutes before I had to get on the bus I was on cloud nine that day.

So weird that the music changes from the orchestral to the synthesized for the final escape

I like how the second deathstar has twice as many turbolasers

It was nice that they got Dennis Lawson to voice Wedge in this game since he is the main character it was a shame they could not get him to voice Wedge in Rebel Strike it changed his character a lot

The hardest part of the whole game for me was protecting Lando here. As a kid I remember getting shredded by all those turrets

idk why but the inside of the Death Star seemed smaller when I played this as a kid xD

tried this level a few times some time ago and thought the falcon near-instantly dying was a bug now i know that isn't the case, you just have to micromanage one of the rebel fleet's bulkiest combat ships at all times good, good.

Especially when we all know it has 2 turrets of its own that are more than capable of taking out TIE fighters.

Just got a Wii along this game and Rebel Strike last Christmas (it was a dream come true :D). But tell me, is the gamecube's analog stick really that high sensitive? 'Cause the aiming feels jerky on my end (specially on the turret sections) and in here it seems you had very good control of it.

Not sure if just me, but the falcon seems to die just moments after the mission starts. It's impossible to protect it, anyone else having this issue?

Stay relatively to it close at all times. I believe you automatically fail the mission if the gap is too much.

It will die quickly if you let the TIEs fire on it for more than a few seconds.

There is no digital version for this game. Emulators are around that can play this on PC but I do not know where to look. As for using my videos, yes you can.

I've never fucking hated Lando more. All he does is fly straight forward and then it's my fault (NOT his gunner's) that he gets destroyed by clusters and clusters of guys flying better than him
