This is still one of the best game depictions of this iconic battle. ❤️

It amazing how they were able to make it feel like there were more fighters in combat. I feel like that what a lot of star wars game that chose to do space combat now lack is the feeling there are more fighters on screen.

When you waste time defending the Medical Frigate and you find out that lore states it got destroyed in the battle anyway. By the Death Star, no less. *Mike Wazowski Face*

You know one thing I'll never understand with the Battle of Endor is whose bright idea was it to bring a medical ship into a potential warzone against a planet killing superweapon.

The medical frigate was still probably armed. Not as heavy but still armed to fend off TIEs cause the empire would still destroy a medical frigate

This mission and X-Wing Alliance's final missions are among the best ways to experience the space stages of the Battle of Endor, I must say.

i know it's likely hardware limitations and whatnot, but the Rebel Fleet feels a bit too small for what is suppose to be a do-or-die, "throw everything and hope for the best" Mission.

I'd nearly always lose at least one life to a collision with a TIE. Could never get above Silver.

I kept hitting into another tie fighter which made it frustrating

Some of the absolute most fun I've ever had in a Star Wars videogame. Totally badass staring down the Death Star, lock the S foils, this is for all the marbles.

I would always use the torpedo lock-on crosshair (press 'B' once) to get an on-screen "targeting computer" which the medal system doesn't penalize you for.

so i assume that the one pilot in the a-wing is tycho but whos in the y-wing Wes i guess cause he likes y-wings

One of the last games I rented from BlockBuster

the hardest mission in the game imo... and the game hates you for using a targetting computer. those ties were fricken horrible to see on tube TV's. I think it took me several days to grind for the gold. Also those gunners on the home one should be court marshalled.

How did you do it in ten minutes?! I couldn't do it in a hour

Why do the lasers seem like they have a slower Rate of fire?

even in the second game this stupid camera bug is rampant, keeps trying to run away from the ship.

I think you can keep the 2nd one alive if you take out enough guns on the Star Destroyers. Though there is still the infinite Ties that will probably take the corvette out before you take out those Star Destroyers.

It’s explained in the briefing. “Once the shield is down, our cruisers will create a perimeter while the fighters fly into the superstructure and attempt to knock out the main reactor.” In simpler terms, the cruisers are to provide cover from any incoming Imperial ships from interfering with the fighters’ objectives of neutralizing the main reactor.
