    I can't put into words, what this video did for me. I had an 883 Iron, traded for a bigger bike (Dyna), and then got rid of it because of a family tragedy. I'm getting a Sportster again. No discussion or debate about it. It is great to know that I can start out with an 883 again and get it up to a 1200 with the added performance. Great camera work, great riding, great everything! Subscribed and Notified.

    Such a great video. i upgraded my 2014 883 just like that one. it is incredible. then i had friends that said you will never get your money back. i said - i don't plan on ever selling lol. it is so much more fun to ride then my 2018 114 Heritage. strange i know. the weight is actually about 150 less. my m8 heritage is 728 and the 883 about 564. i have to hang on when on that sportster. from 0 - 60 i can take most HD. the gearing on the 883 is so different than the 1200 series. i like it that way though. a rough ride though but you know that if you have a sportster. i actually bought another sportster 2014 the 48 and i love the 883 so much better. great video. i think i made the right choice on the upgrade. just a fun bike.

These bikes are extremely fun punched out and they haul ass for any reasonable street riding you want to do. 😁 from 30mph to 100mph is where all the fun happens. This bike sounds amazing. Love it !! If you don't mind saying what is the difference between stage 3and stage 4 does the stage three have more low end torque .

  • @MattLaidlaw

    @MattLaidlaw

    5 жыл бұрын

    watch some of my other screamin eagle videos. I explain this in detail. Basically, the stage 3 has a similar power band to a stock bike. The torque comes on early. It really doesn't benefit you much to rev the bike out real far. Above about 4,500 RPM doesn't make a whole lot of sense. So you're shifting earlier. The stage 4 is basically a higher revving cam profile. You're not accessing the good power till after 4,000 RPM and the horse power keeps climbing till red light. If you're a guy who like to rip the throttle and down shift frequently to make a pass etc then the 4 might be your jam. I have found most harley riders who just want more power are usually best off with a stage 3

    I talk about this a little in the video. The stage 4 installed is about 4,000 give or take depending on your intake and exhaust choice. The stage 4 doesn't technically include those items but you gotta have them so I usually include them into the price. Again, this is a ball park with labor and taxes included. That's everything.

    @@jordankelly4684 Americanism is an idea. There are many people outside the United States who are Americans at heart, and there are many citizens of the United States who are wholly unAmerican. Just look at our mainstream media, many politicians, and collectivists; completely antecedent to the morals & ideals of our founding.

    How would this compare to a 2015 sporty 48 with straight pipes, rsd intake and tune ... is this 883 faster than the 48 after the stage 4 kit? I have a 48 with the mods I listed and my buddy has an 883 and is looking into this kit . Thanks matt

    What brake upgrade occurred in 2016? I'm aware of ABS being added as an option in 2014 (unless that date is in error) but haven't heard about anything in 2016.
