Jac at 1 hour of training. This is still day two. Notice at 1:20 where Jac boldly steps toward Stacy, this is an example of a horse asking a question. Notice how there are moments where Jac is beginning to lunge 1/4 to 1/2 circles around Stacy as the basic language begins. Stacy discusses horses expressing themselves with head tossing, opening their mouths, and swishing their tails. Jac shifts gears at about 6:30....which is his break through moment. The moment that Jac realizes Stacy is trying to communicate. Jac overcomes his fear of the stick and string.
This is the story of two-year-old Jacs Electric Whiz (Jac), the last baby out of Whizards Baby Doll, better known as "Roxy". Roxy touched the hearts of horse lovers around the world when she and Stacy Westfall made history with their bareback and bridleless freestyle reining ride. The loss of Roxy in 2012 has left a void in the equine community.
