    I have the 10'6 med-lite/fast Avid do you think it's too under powered for the salmon there

    that rod will most likely get destroyed but if you catch a small king or coho then you have a chance but get at least a medium 8 1/2 to 10 feet medium rods to prevent that risk cause you will be dealing with 20lb+ fish no question asked

    @@chrisburgess6964 I recommend keeping any king/chinook salmon under 15lb in that river in general if it was the Humber anything less then 10lb if your chucking spoons in the mouth once they get more upstream don't eat them
