Details about Marina's planned version of this tower: It was meant to bring back the memories and identities of sanitized octarians, and Marina figured out that the best way to do that was put them in the memverse then give them a challenge to complete, which helped with memory retention. Pearl was always planned to be a helper, that didn't change. Marina was supposed to be at the top of the tower, 'like a storybook princess,' also as system management. Also agent 4 was supposed to be System Security but seemingly all that came from it was Order using their appearance for the Parallel Canon leader's appearance and part of their soul getting stuck in the memverse. Since Tartar didn't log whose memories were whose, she built color chips from mixed-up memcakes and palettes as a framework for a soul(if I understand correctly) so the memories could sort themselves out and find the souls where they belong. The jelletons were supposed to be way cuter than they were.

I had turned my console off for the night during a run, and finished it this morning- my first completion! When the credits finished, it started the Inkopolis Square cutscene, but then said “Internet connection lost because the console entered sleep mode.” and promptly just DIDN’T give me the cutscene OR the news report

I think that was a development oversight. The game had since been patched to have an option to replay the cinematic! It's listed alongside the options for replaying the first Overlorder battle and the credits. Edit: The option is labelled ‘Remember Entering Inkopolis Square’.

It all makes sense now, how pearl was able to transform into a drone, how we were able regenerate without a spawn point, and how everything was glitching out. We’re not in inkopolis square, we’re in a simulation of the square

I’m so happy we can actually play in the Square now! Splatoon 2 was the first game that I could actually participate in Splatfests, so it’s always gonna hold a space in my heart

since little Pearl, has that destructive voice yo! she's getting more VOICE POWER!

The fact that this dlc is helping me with my verzephobia, The glitch cyber aesthetic of it I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it But it ended up making me brave

I think it would have been a bad form of chaos, like how the AI here is a totalitarian form of order. The final boss probably would have been related to a lack of stability.

The Cutscenes of *Splatoon 3: Side Order* DLC Event here is Absolutely Incredible and Epic! I'm just so happy to see Pearl and Marina in this game! I missed these two from *Splatoon 2!*

Even after it's end in the Octo Expansion, Tartar has a lot to answer for.

Thanks for uploading this. My switch broke right before it released after almost 8 years of use, and I prefer this over getting spoiled.

@@waypastcool853 ohhh, i just thought it was closer to 8, I didn’t notice that it just hit 7 years recently. That’s mb, I do that a lot when I describe how old stuff is. Like if the DS is currently 19 years old (I think), then I normally say “the ds is almost 20 years old”. Just how my brain processes age (sorry if that makes no sense btw).

I would usually say that the switch was almost seven, or sometimes, just say it was seven, even though it was only six. It's a pretty common thing that people do. I was just confused since usually you only do that if it's much closer, but the switch had just turned seven on the third, and you were already saying it was almost eight. It's all good though, no need to apologise!

I like how when Agent 8 gives the thann you/acknowledgement look to the player Marina is like "What's she looking at?".

I realize something if Callie won the the final splatfest then is it possible that we would not have marina and pearl.

Spoilers She did it with good intentions, The Ai was the issue, her Dev diaries don't seem to mention her creating it meaning Order spawned from the code itself, Dramatic days in Ordertown was her project meant to help the victims of Kamabo Co. Recover their sense of self and memories. If this world's society has an equivalent to a Nobel prize she's definately earn it.

Maybe this is just me but... IK Inklings and Octolings have their own language that is not sort of connected to any languages in like our world in voice, like the VA's just speak gibberish and then they distort it... But why does Acht sound Korean? Like hear me out... (Again maybe this is just me) When you hear another language, outside of the ACTUAL WORDS THEY SAY, there's like a way to speak it. A tone, like how to annunciate, the speed pace, rhythm, and for some reason, Acht's dialogues sound like she's speaking some form of distorted Korean... Like it's a similar tone and like- VIBE if you will... (I'm so sorry if this sounds like hate toward Korean people... Just to put it out there... it ISN'T)
