Did anyone realize that captain (or ex-captain now that there's Captain 3) cuttlefish pressed the button one the thingy to turn on the screen, meaning its a thing they can actually see. But the probably don't understand the names or what those peoples jobs are, because it's not in inkling or octoling language. Edit: also did anyone also realize in side order that Achts red uh.. tentacle? Hair? Hair, tips glow? Cuz I think that's a really cool detail :D

I love how Wave Goodbye is like: "We're done." Then #47 Onward jumps in like: "We're not going anywhere."

😔wave goodbye is so accurate to the story line that i started freaking out when i heard it, i thought it meant splatoon was over

Splatoon Credit songs make me always emotionally

The 3 squid sisters songs hit too hard knowing the splatoon 1 servers shut down next month. And the fact nintendo said this is the end of the original splatoon story. Might be a long time until we hear them two again

i was listening to this as background noise, so you could imagine my surprise when the video started and suddenly all i could hear was ink noises SJDHFVG

I’ve had a trend with every single credits song in Splatoon I completely ignore it the first time I’m listening and fail to realize how amazing it is. Then when I listen to it again it becomes my favorite song in the series. 47 Onward is probably the first one to break that trend, not because it’s bad, it’s fantastic, but Wave Goodbye is right there

It could be recency bias but Onward hits so hard and that backdrop as you ascend the elevator is the most gorgeous place in the whole series.

We go onward into the light as we walk to a fresh start and we wave goodbye to the old days with maritime memories in our minds

Into the light became one of my favorite songs in Splatoon 2, with Bomb Rush Blush, Tidal Rush and Clamari Inkantation making a close second

What I love is how the credits always feels consistent in a way Like you have the New Squidbeak Splatoon stories letting the players mess around by shooting ink around the credits, whether it'd be at the wall or through space, while Eight/Off the Hook's stories have the titular trios venturing off... Into the Light, if you will

This makes me feel a certain way, I can't describe it, and I don't know how to feel about it. A drop of happiness and a drop of sadness, mixed together to create something that is just flat out hard to describe.

I love how almost all of the credits each contain a portion of another track by the same artists. Maritime memory: calamari inkantation (also technically a slower remix of city of colour to begin with) Fresh start: bomb rush blush & tide goes out (Callie and Marie’s solos) Into the light: colour pulse (albeit without vocals, likely an early demo) Wave goodbye: calamari inkantation… again (barely, if you squint, but it’s in there) But then we get to #47 onward:…? Unless I’m being dumb and not noticing some motif, or maybe it’s one of dedf1sh’s tracks hidden in there. Heck, even Daybreaker anthem, not a true credits theme (though it might as well be), contains the chorus of anarchy rainbow.

Wave Goodbye made me tear up when I first heard it. Usually I dont cry over credit screens but Splatoon does something to me

No puedo creer que una de las mejores sagas con un buen lore, una gran historia y DLC s que no se quedan atrás (en el caso de la segunda y tercera entrega) halla terminado. Aún me aferro a las escasas posibilidades de otro juego o de una película por parte de Nintendo. Estoy llorando no porque haya terminado, sino porque fue muy hermoso y creci viendo todo de Splatoon (no me imagino como estarán los que sí pudieron jugar las 3 entregas y los DLC). Esto no es un adiós, es un hasta pronto.

Nah, Splatoon es una fuente de dinero muy importante para Nintendo, si dijeron que iba a "terminar", era porque se referían que terminarían la historia de Squidbeck Splatoon y ya, probablemente salga ya con otro enfoque para los otros story modes Lo sacaron mucho de contexto desde que narraron eso en el trailer

I feel like the credits song is representative of the games’ story mode, Maritime Memory is simple and nostalgic, Into the light is, well not very rememberable in the slightest and a copy of 1, into the light is peak and heartfelt just like OE, Wave Goodbye is pretty good although some parts could’ve been better and it was kind of a repeat of OE, 47 Onward is good but not as good as OE but it was fine the entire way through and good for what it was. (Although it could use an update with more floors though).
