SPERMIDINE & LONGEVITY: Induce Autophagy Without Fasting [2021]

Ғылым және технология

SPERMIDINE: If you want to trigger autophagy but hate to fast, you'll enjoy this video. In it, we link spermidine, fasting & autophagy to longevity by talking about several studies that seem to show that taking spermidine can extend lifespans.
We'll begin out discussion by talking about what spermidine is and how it works before moving on to how it impacts aging and what you should know if you're planning on supplementing with spermidine. I'll even provide a great place to obtain supplemental spermidine.

There is one animal product that is high in spermidine. Wikipedia says wheat germ has 243 mg per kg. Coming in second is aged cheese (at least one year) has 199 mg per kg. Soy beans come in at 128 mg, while mushrooms have 89 mg. Costco sells a cheap three year aged Vermont Cheddar. That is more palatable than wheat germ, or soy beans. Of course, mushrooms are palatable too, with fewer calories and fat. But you need twice the volume of aged cheddar to get the same spermidine.

You said that autophagy creates additional "energy" in our cells but autophagy recycles cellular components (proteins). Energy is supplied by the blood from the liver and consumes the body fat to do so. Mitochondria are rejuvenated by autophagy and become more efficient and thus may become more energetic.

I just want to note that on the spermidine life product that you're pitching, the ingredient label doesn't even use the word Spermadine, it's most active ingredient is declared as 800 mg of wheat germ extract, sure enough, wheat germ extract does indeed have spermidine in it, but there is no indication of how much spermAdine is actually in each dose. Inshort 800mg of wheat germ extract does not equal 800 mg of spermidine. Also, It would be nice to know how much spermidine is effective in starting autophagy.

And, the amount of food you would need to eat to get a therapeutic dose would obviate the benefits of fasting. I believe that larger amounts (therefore cheaper) would work better on an intermittent fasting schedule. But, really, it's way too expensive.

I like the way you explain things in such a straightforward manner, repeating the important bits but I gave up all drugs to avoid the vivisection and torture of innocent animals and yet I find there is just as much torture of creatures that would normally be our pets justified in research of supplements! It is horrific and a unacceptable. If we just ate the way our grandparents did and stopped relying on the pharmaceutical industrial complex we would be healthy and not torturing adorable little sentient beings to make up for our lazy addicted food habits. So sad! The number of animals being tortured in the name of a renamed virus and vitamin D3 deficiency is heartbreaking and nobody should accept injections based on such appalling cruelty. I buy supplements that Are not tested on animals but what is the point if they rely on research based on unscientific unnecessary animal cruelty. ? When human beings manage to destroy themselves completely with their greed and gluttony, the planet will be a much better place, peace on Earth will be reinstated without humans. We do not have to be like this, there is still time to change But change does not come with mandated injections! Thank you Namaste 🙏
