Hello diylisx, great construction 👍🏻 I have a question please: if the diameter for the PVC pipe is 25mm. Is this the inside or outside diameter ? For 25mm must I use smaller - 16mm inner fitting tubes to connect two 25mm parts ? Thank you

@@Lisa_Martini Hey! Pipe diameter external size 25 mm! All fittings are for pipes with a diameter of 25mm! There are no adapters for another size and it will not fit)))

@@diylisx Thank you 👍🏻 I found out that there are also PVC pipes / fittings with 16mm and 20mm. With adapter / reductions you can connect them. Maybe this is interesting for you ?!

@@diylisx Yes sure, I know 👍🏻 But you can make the pipes around smaller ! The inner pipe, where the arrow is loaded, could be „normal wide“.

This is beautiful. Very impressive lego kit Sir. I hike the Florida swamps and preserves a couple times a week and this is gonna be perfect for my gear setup. Light and quiet if it must be utilized... For defense only of course. But we run into pigs, large rattlers, other snakes, not to mention some truly insane raccoons lately. And with coming into spring and momma pigs being VERY protective the blue trails we take are sometimes a bit exciting. Thanks again for the idea and I 2nd or 3rd the request for the shopping list PLEASE. Keep up the great work and content 👍

If you put an end rubber cap on the barrel and drill a hole big enough for arrow to fit. It will hell guide the arrow for better accuracy.

I use Latex rubber! Link in description. I connect with a simple screw with a diameter of 3 mm

Very cool and creative, I just have a question, does the arrow get affected a lot by the friction with pvc? To elaborate my question, won't the friction reduce it's speed and accuracy?

I don't measure strength) I often use a combo of 4х - 5mm rubber bands, this is guaranteed to pierce a cola can from 15 meters

By design there are only 2 rubbers, they go around the structure through the holes! at the end there are 4 elastic bands! everything is just my friend!

OR you could make it exactly the same except have a T PVC where the arrow goes in the middle and you can grab it from the side

Hello! Black is a simple cord! And green is latex rubber! I left the links in the description!!

Look at 3:31, notice the angle between the arrow and the arrow “barrel”. I wonder if you might get better accuracy if you rolled your lft wrist down a bit to give it a straighter entry.

I haven't measured the strength but I'm sure this design can be improved and added power! 1. take latex rubber of a larger diameter. 2. add rubber in this design 2 elastic bands, but you can do more))

What about increasing the distance between upper & lower assembly for a better gripping surface?

These are standard pipe sizes with a diameter of 25 mm. you just choose the length of the central tubes! For me it’s 8 and 10 centimeters.

It looks like you used some form of 32mm to 25mm reducer at the end where you load the arrow, is that correct?

No, it's the same 25mm pipe, but it expands for connection! I just used part of the extension!
