Love the design of this. Though, if I decide to make one of these, I'd like to use Dyneema bow string or something with a little less stretch and more tightness for increased velocity of the arrow. I don't even want to start thinking about the time and cost of testing the different strings will be, lol. Still, love this idea.

People please have some imagination these videos are too show you how to use materials that you have laying around or can come across easily watch videos try to make this stuff out of whatever you can find use some of your own ideas to maybe make it easier or better it opens up your mind to new things it does not have to be exactly the same as the one you see here please learn and do what you are capable of doing then you have life lessons that you can pass on to other's

I've watched a few videos of DIY PVC slingshots and slingbows and, as one who has done some plumbing, is there a reason people are using hacksaws instead of pipe-cutters in these videos? Seems to me a pipe-cutter would be way faster and cleaner (even cut, less sanding, mess, elbow grease) but maybe I don't know what I don't know.

I used PVC pipe with a diameter of 25 mm, adapters and fittings also with a diameter of 25 mm, latex rubber with a diameter of 5 mm and latex thread. It fits very comfortably in the hand! Accuracy 8/10! How do you like this design?
