Crossbow, of course. If the UK also uses 5160 for automotive suspension universally, then it'll be easy to grab a leaf spring, forge it to shape, and spring temper it for the arms. Or go primitive and use some of that famous Yew. Or go prison style and use newspaper and glue. All could fit your aesthetic. :) Great work as always, bro.

Loved it. So over engineered. Genius.
Onur, You used your voice thingy, and the explanation was very crisp and clear, the volume was perfect, interesting little build, to bad the arrow didn't penetrate the squash. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
for Deadpool you get a sub, for a kickass weapon with my kind of colored commentary you get a thumbs up as well good Sir, thanks for the vidja.💯

Haven’t watch in a while. Too much life going on. Love the mini bow sling. Ingenious design. Like seeing you trying new styles of filming. I feel like you welding is more than adequate. Don’t let the haters live rent free in your head. Still love the channel.

It also helps to use some kind of cutting fluid when drilling through metal. Makes the bits last longer too. You could just spray or pour it on, by that makes a mess, it's better to use a rag or brush with that, it doesn't take very much.
Brilliant little bow. Video was epic. Appreciate the humor and excellent use of and explanation for safety equipment. Had me laughing so much I almost choked on my coffee several times. 🤣 Video, narration and editing was wonderful and could tell this would have been a pain to build. All kidding aside, you made my Saturday morning a hell of a lot better. Cheers mate 🍻! All the best to you and the family.
Nice design easy to carry out in a backpack
Dude just saw you in my recommendations. Humor and weapon builds. Subbed 🤘😜
Damn, dude. Epic build.
great build! amazing vid!
Reengineering the wheel. I like it.
When I graduated from school my teacher gave a speach to all the parents, staff and students. She said that the girls in her class was skilled and clever... the boys however seemed more skilled in making random sounds thn actually speaking... LOL -I guess your teacher said you had skills when it came to facial expressions... LOL P.s. You are the perfect example as to why I don't wear rubber gloves. at 8:15 I laughed out loud when you wiped the epoxy with the ONE finger that wasn't gloved up! :D
Great to know about the 321 blocks. That explains why my 231 blocks are off. Thanks. Edit: I tried to save money by buying the 123 blocks in the past. I don't advise.
I would be proud to use such a fine weapon in a post apocalypse rebellion scenario. Great Job.

Have you thought of using crossbow bolts(arrows), they are shorter than regular arrows. Possibly cut your regular arrows down to more manageable lengths. Love what you make.
@DiesInEveryFilm

Thank you, the length wasn’t an issue it was the elastic which was overpowered but it’s a prototype for a future build I explained in a pinned comment

That's a nifty little bow. Clever idea, making the design a hybrid conventional/slingshot bow. If you were to do it again, do you think that an arrow guide of some sort could be helpful? Or would it just get in the way? Also, I enjoyed the narration. It felt a little more instructional. Your humour still came thru, as well! 😆

Good project and funny content
We are glimpsing a true artist at work, Improvising like a jazz musician in a smokey bar. Fun Stuff! Seriously, I learned welding at age 50, only messed about with it while living on a small ranch. Watched in awe as the instructor TIG welded bits of a soda can into a dainty mug with a handle... Meanwhile, I can't help noticing the textured gloves make it look like our host is one of the Lizard People...
DAohhhh... the premise is utter brilliance it's just springy metal feels like it would be a good idea but as you know it doesn't have the spring speed of polycarbonate or wood so if you were to remake this with really strong polycarbonate....OMG, lookout
@DiesInEveryFilm
7 ай бұрын
The spring steel wasn’t in use in used that as it had a good curve to it and would be right under tension to oppose the elastic which is harpoon elastic and was way too stiff for this type of style but it’s an experiment for future ideas
Being a little bit twisted gets a "thumbs up" and a subscribe from me!

Not only dies in every film, almost dies making every project. Nice sling bow, was that a old leaf spring? You should try sanding 14 feet of timber and epoxy/glass boat, I swear it's torture, they even use a thing called a torture board for sanding in the boat building world. But whats life without a tad of torture

I make custom one offs as I have lots of video ideas so they either start a prototype for something bigger or go on my website
make a slingshot with a 1:2 pulley system that way the projectile will have more speed and more power, some spear guns have that, there are even kits to install it on a regular spear gun
I would love to see you make some arrowheads I mean tanged socketed whatever does not matter to me but I believe you would make the most wicked ones ever

in case you ever need an idea try a stave that has a retractable spear head and urumi blades and a compartment for a string to also have a shepards sling on one end and a disaster bat end on the other end of the stave that can be used as a club a disaster bat is bat that has a channel in it for a disk shaped projectile to roll in during the swing to gain speed you can do it i know you can

What fps are you filming at? Id love to know how fast those arrows are going
Excellent video and nifty little slingbow, it's derringer of Robin Hood's day Your cutaways were funny as always.... What's that? He should've put something else on besides the helmet at the band saw? That's plenty good, it was perfectly safe, he even did the safety squints. What do you mean "safety glasses"? Ahh that's just girl talk Anyway, I loved the video
the reason ppl didn't use clamps in the old days was, they hadn't been invented cos you find out the hard way....and necessity being the mother of all inventions
This guy is fucking nuts in the best possible way.
