Many years ago I would make things we called Spreaders for snaking logs out of the forest. I would use a tapered I.D. steel sleeve and 19mm Wire Cable and fray the end of the wire and pull it down into the sleeve. Then pour a resin into the frayed end and when it hardened it would never come out. I like what you made and might try to make me one. Thanks and super job.

I never saw a practical use for these (legal issues aside) until I met an old biker (lets call him Jeff). He had tassels on his bar end maybe 10-12" long. One of the other riders happened to have one too many and not only singled out Jeff but in particular his leather tassels. One thing led to another and it tuned out one of the leather tassels had a 1/4" piece of cable running the last 8" or so and he had a quick release that had it in his hands in seconds. It was quite the formidable weapon.

That thing is F#cking lethal mate! Nicely done, I must try and make something like this in future just like that excellent trench club you made. One thing I've been thinking about lately is a chainsword. Use to lean towards internal combustion but now with advances in lithium ion batteries and the crazy torque fron electric motors I'm leaning toward electric. Also leaning towards a solar powered workshop for cheapness in the long run

You may want to evaluate pneumatic tools buddy. A good tank, quick connections all over the place, tons of heavy duty hoses hanging from the roof and my take is you could save money. And if you run the compressor with solar, even better.

I'm not very handy in the workshop, so I purchased a 24" length of vinyl coated aircraft cable and some Plasti Dip in a can. I repeatedly dipped one end of the cable into the Plastic Dip to make the diameter a little large to create a handle. Keep this in my car for emergencies.
