Problem with the Sony is the sharpening and NR make it look a bit like video. The Blackmagic just looks more organic and filmic.

Pure gold baby. Btw Im in the BM 6K Pro camp and that little Sony is kinda fabulous.

I like the Sony, but it doesn’t shoot 4K DCI and the BM 6K downsampled on a 4K timeline looks really good. The Sony for run and gun. The BM 6K Pro for high end production work. The built in ND filters are a feature of cinema camera. It won’t be long before a cage will be available for the 6k Pro. The stab is ok on the Sony. I believe better on the newer Canons, but they all have a bit of background jello look which screams video/ more so on the wide footage. Build up a shoulder rig is ideal for the 6k, and as you mentioned, then Davinci stabilization if needed in post.
