Great review. I find the Rode pricing insane . Here in South africa 🇿🇦 Rode wireless go ii with the case purchased separately =$574 and the Rode Pro = R634 today as per EX Rates. Hollyland offers much more at the better quality. The rode wireless go ii without the case costs more already.

I’m with you. It’s gonna be either the BM camera app or the native on auto for me. Kino or FinalCut are my home movie, goofing around apps, practice mobile editing and color grading.

I’m running 17.5 and it does not preserve settings. Same as Kino camera. BlackMagic and native are the best at keeping your settings right now.

Would you suggest the a7rV over the a7iv for a hybrid? I think fx3 will be a later purchase and used just for video. (Do mostly real estate video and sport photos)

I feel ya bro...moved to NC from DC 14 years ago. I'm 49 now so I don't miss the Bity City much anymore.. I cook on my grill and its DONE!! BTW I have 1200 acres of tree farms surrounding 3 sides of my house and have only one neighbor! That's the BEST! I can run through the yard NAKED as hell and no one would know!! Privacy is my NEW FRIEND these days!! Upstate NY is beautiful though...

Very poor design. There is no way to put a mic flag on it without hitting record or mute. Also, the usb c should be put at the bottom of the mic not the middle. If I am suing this mic for a podcast the last thing I want is a cable sticking out half way up the mic.

I just got back into photography and the camera that caught my eye (coming from canon) was the XT30ii because of the look and size. Absolutely loving it! If you still thinking about doing recipe round up videos I highly think you should. Going to try vibrant Arizona on my camera next!

it's 2024 and I just bought the HX99, though technically it is no longer made. The price increased to $473. It is a replacement for my damaged WX500. I wanted the 30x zoom again. I have a FDR AX33 which I've used for years as my A camcorder. The HX99 serves as a B roll camcorder, and fulfills that roll nicely. I rarely shoot in 4K with either since most of my videos are meant for KZread or Facebook. I made sure to give you a 👍, even if this is 5 years old.

Can you use DJI Mic 2 with MI adapter and some other mic in 3.5mm jack at same time? In 4ch mode (2+2) It will be nice to put some shotgun mic in camera and 2x leveler mics DJI Mic 2 at same time. Can you try it?

Now what’s really crazy for me watching this video obviously late, is the now soon to be released r5 mark2 I know it’s not a cinema but for the price point I’d honestly just go for the fx3 I just love how Sony uses one mount that you are able to use outside lenses. But I love the r5c since I currently own a canon camera. I’ve been a canon guy but everyone I know has went to Sony and gosh I’d prefer buying the trinity line of lenses g master 2 versions and the fx3 but just my opinion I think the fx3 is by far outweighing the r5c

The difference in 24 and 28mm is huge in real life scenarios. That's the only reason I chose this over Tamron 28-200.

I had an old G6 Max gimbal tucked in a drawer - slapped the Ace Pro on there and ran it through a not-so-well lit house for a quick real estate reel. No stabe in camera and put on pure mode at 30 fps it looked fantastic at 80% speed with ramps. Needed the little gimbal to help lock in that horizon and keep the non-cropped wide lens. Love this little camera so far. I honestly don't see the negative crits on this camera - seems it was the pre-cursor to the Lumix S9 in regard to how it was received by the camera consuming community - love it or hate it
