I wondered what it would be like sleeping in a cacoon cocoon hanging shelter. Not great, but was an interesting experience. campfire cooking.

I am a camping addict & do so every chance I get. Unfortunately, last year while camping & exploring I fell off a cliff & broke my back. I finally got to go camping almost a year later. It was magic. However I thought I picked up a tummy bug & went home early only to end up in hospital the next day. It wasn’t a tummy bug, I have stage 3 cancer. I just had my last chemo & as soon as I get my strength back I’m going again, just me & my doggie. Your videos are great! They have helped to keep me in a happy place during this hard patch.

I love the parts where things don't go as you had hoped they would. :-) It happens to a lot of us. You make wonderful videos. My family went camping when I was little. My dad made me a pine bow bed when I was 6 (a long time ago now). It smelled so good and was bouncy so I loved it. My great grandparents camped out while crossing the US in the 1800's. When I watch you camping in snow and cold I think of them and wonder how did they ever survive? But in the end they were proud of themselves for taking on such a challenge and succeeding. My teeth are still chattering from watching you sleep on the poles in the lean-to in another video. You didn't sleep much because you were too cold and the poles were uncomfortable. I have slept on the cold ground with a root poking me all night. It can be pretty miserable, but I didn't regret it because there was the outdoors and the mountains and streams and so much beauty to enjoy in the Idaho.

Great video Andy, thanks. Enjoyed the graceful entry and exit you executed when using the tent(hammock) very funny. Incidentally there is no such word as condensated it should be condensed or condenses. Keep up the great entertainment.

Mesmerising footage always from this gentleman. Housework is on the back burner since I discovered this channel. I just love the easy - going style and the way he proves the different styles of tents and equipment. And of course the way he makes his meals look so scrummy. Thanks xx

Loved those atmospheric foggy shots Andy - I'm a fog lover also. Definitely going to try the melted camembert recipe. The hanging hammock? Maybe, maybe not….

My daughter took me on a spa day, where they had these cocoons hanging from the ceiling. They were lovely and comfy for a nap but i really wouldn't want to try and spend a night in one!

Andy, this was a superstar video, we're not sure that we could manage the circular hanging device (which took us back to Kim Basinger's dress in "My stepmother is an alien") but the bread and brie combo Dude, wondrous. Top effort, if we may say so. Should have had wine with it. Never saw Croques Monsieur coming, either. Cheese Fest!
