A lot of survivalists destroy their shelters before they leave. I always wondered why, especially on a shelter like this.
That’s so lovely, ive just waited 40 years to get my own woodland, ive just purchased 7 acres of Welsh woodlands for my retirement present to myself and I can’t wait to have the same nights as this, absolutely amazing

Same here Betty I'm to disabled to actually go camping anymore but I sure love Andy's enthusiasm, and the food he makes and watching him before bedtime just makes me sleep like a kid again, I truly love watching this channel Andy is Amazing
the idea of just going out into the woods making a small little hut like this with moss on top of it and a cozy fern bed is the life that i wanna live for a month

Andy I can't help but smiling everytime I see a Kent Survival intro, your smile and happiness is so contagious ❤️ I love you mate. You carry a vibe & energy that is so purely genuine & kind. Me & my Mom love watching you & Simon. Keep up the good work brother 🙏 💪
I do love how chilled out your videos are. I also love how you have just built a shelter in the woods with sticks and moss and you are probably warmer than me in my terraced house and eating better than me 🤣
Your videos are varied enough that I can watch them over and over again, always enjoy them. Take care and thank you so much!!

I particularly enjoy the way you eat so well when out and about. Also, a wonderfully peaceful & relaxing way to spend an overnight camping experience, a great alternative to living in a stressful world.
Sorry you aren't feeling well Andy, At least there was nothing wrong with your appetite, after all that work to prepare your dinner! That's a beautiful moss shelter!! After hours of work, it's no wonder you were exhausted! Thanks for sharing!
Andy its the 13th of April 2024 when i am watching this & another great day & night in your life that i love watching of you camping out .
LOL "Everything stops for tea..." I know better than to show up to your videos without my own provisions! 👍😎🇨🇦🔥 Another awesome shelter, Andy. Feel better. ⚘
I Love coming to your channel when I want something enjoyable and relaxing/calming ! Appreciate the time you put into your videos
I love these bushcraft style videos Andy! What a great spot! A lot of work for one night especially with a temperature but I am glad you did it and shared it with us!
Thank you for being mindful to use moss from different areas. 👍 FANTASTIC photos too!
Glad you kept things civilized with a cup of tea!
Inspirational. I absolutely love your Video's. It's my go-to, when I have a bad day. So relaxing, and you've taught me so many bushcraft skills. Thank you. 🏕
I've missed your videos! And looking forward to watching and listening to them late at night while tucking in for bed: the sound of campfire, cooking and the animals in the background! Absolutely perfect!

I camp every night literally and transform into my day job persona. Unconventional but fun.
I can imagine the earthy smell of that moss with the dirt! Love this!
Sorry I'm late Kent fam! Got a new and better job! Andy, so glad to see you up and about again, this is such a classic video! From beginning to end, just awesome! I see Simon's saw still works well! 🍻💯🤘
I swear I could smell that roasted chicken just as it was pulled from the spit. Funny how the mind can make a thing, a real and actual thing. I don't often comment, but I watch nearly every video and appreciate each and every one you post. God Bless you for all you do and thank you for sharing this with us viewers.
Andy, I absolutely love the photo prints from Lee Gavin! Mr. Gavin has captured all of the significant moments every camper sees, feels and smells every time we connect with nature on our outings. Beautifully done, indeed!
The editing at the end was rather cool, indeed!! Entire video was very well made, as always, Andy. You are a true gem!! ❤😊❤
I hope you're feeling better Andy. Take care of yourself and keep the videos coming!
That moss covered shelter looks Brilliant, such a blending with the nature. Thanks for sharing this, Andy!
Yet another stimulating and educating video. Such an affable character. Calming and soft with so much love for nature which is portrayed in every post. Great content and as always no trace camping. Keep doing what you do best.
Nice to see the simple builds again Andy. Always enjoy your videos. 😊
The thumbnail made this look like Red Dead Redemption 3 lol. Wonderful video 🌲🌲
Let's go Saturday morning!!! Cheers from the Prairies of Canada! 🍻🇨🇦
andy well done mate just love your videos and the hooting of the old owls , and just being close to nature and the woodlands
Looking forward to this 👌 always enjoy your videos 👏👏
So comfortable watching this video I think I can fall asleep and picture myself in that shelter
Ohhh can't wait to watch, cheers Andy, gotta wait for the missus tho.
Great video Andy. Thanks for sharing it with us. Take care and stay safe.
Great shelter. My God mate, your food always looks lip smacking good. One senses that you are truly enjoying your outdoor experiences. Keep your fine vids coming. Many thanks.
Loved this one Andy. The drone shot in the morning mist was absolutely awesome and liked the takedown at the end.

Hi from Australia, I gotta say the Pousan(not sure of the spelling) looked yummy. I also gotta say I love watching you build your campground. If I ever get lost in the bush I hope I stumble across your campground.
I have binged some of your videos,I must say very informative and doable for even a armchair enthusiast as myself .I like the idea of not having to have the Rambo style knife and kit to survive a night or heaven forbid two nights in the woods. Thanks stay safe from newfoundland and labrador Canada .
I've been binge watching your videos for a while now and they always feel so relaxing. And kudos for showing that it's important to put things back as they were and respect the environnement. Mosses are very useful, and many species are endangered, so placing them back and keeping them alive is crucial.
I can't believe you found all that moss in one area. That's one mossy forest. Lol
Yep, everything's better with a brew on the go! I loved how you "cleared" up at the end, too! Thanks for another great video.
Hopefully the miss survived in its new home. Somehow I missed this video before. Love all the nature you are able to hear in your own little forest retreat!
nice to see onother video
I'd love to see a time lapse of after a shelter like this collapses, I imagine the moss would take it over at that point!
Kent Gent Survival. Enjoying his sausages like a Viking but keeping it British and civilised with a cup of tea 😉😄
I was glad to see you used the sheep skin as you are still a bit under the weather, age of the north uses one they're great as insulation against the cold and damp and he camps in similar shelters all year round even in thick snow. Think he's in Norway. Get well soon , and take good care of yourself, love your videos 👍
Hi Andy nicely done shelter. If only a good cup of tea could make the world more civil it would be great. Take care of yourself and feel better.
I jump to and fro amongst your videos, but always find them informative and entertaining. I hope to try some of what you do someday-if not the heavy work, the cooking! Thank you for all you do!
lovely video Andy, so peaceful and looked like you were in your element.
Such a great camp you set up. Your shelter is amazing and it erected so fast. Now the chicken dinner - Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I must say those sausages looked mighty tasty too. One thing you did not have to bring any pots and pans on this trip. That rotary spit does a great job. I have to get one. I usually use branches but this is much better and the steel rod going through the meat helps cook the inside. It is too bad you cannot leave that shelter up for other overnighters. You put a lot of work into it. Happy adventures and all the best!
Huh huh huh. Hey, Beavis. It's that one dude again. Huh huh huh.
Ive never had much luck with moss - even when I put them up like roof tiles. I always carry a heavy duty tarp with me. I do like the layout of the shelter! Great video Andy!!
Watching in awe from Florida. If I turned over even 1 log I’d find a snake - and our moss is filled with biting mites.
Man Andy, this is.... AWESOME! LOVE IT!! 😊
I'll never tire of your videos. They bring me so much relaxation and peace.
Andy, could you do some 'How to cook' vids please. Show us how to cook camp meals, recipes, timings etc. Would be great, especially for me, I can't cook...lol. Would certainly boost your You Tube content. Many thanks, Chris.
When we were kids, my pal and I constructed a hut from branches held together with string, and covered all the gaps with moss just like this. We raided the local rubbish dump for items with which to furnish our little cabin. Never spent the night there though. Now I shudder to think of all the critters that lived in that moss...... Hope you are better now.
Decades ago my dad and I built a lean-to on the hillside behind our condo in Pittsburgh, PA. It held up during the blizzard of 1976 and we used it to store our food in when we didn’t have power. It didn’t last long after the following spring.
A beautiful patch of woods. Cheers from the South Carolina Lowcountry

I'm not halfway through this video but I feel I need to comment right now...that shelter you've built is bloody awesome! And I know your dinner will be equally as awesome. Another ace video Andy! I can say that now because I know it will be!
منظر جميل مميز كنت دائما اكلات لذيذه وارائعه نتمنالك التوفيق
I love me some SAAAW-SAGES! Seriously, nothing better than a well made sausage for a meaty, fatty good meal. I love taking summer sausage, putting the end in a fire until it crisps up nicely, and then using a knife to carve the crispy sausage off and eat it. Then sticking the now pristine end back into the fire to crisp up again!
Thanks a lot for the good content. Excellent cinematography and excellent directing. I myself have recently started making videos about bushcraft, of course it does not compare with your work yet, but I am moving towards it very quickly. Greetings from Belarus!

Nice wee shelter build, can’t believe you did that while recovering from a cold. It’s a lovely spot. Mmm I love poussin.
Your voice is so calming, makes me less anxious which really helps me to feel better :)
Love watching your videos...keep up the good work
Andy that was the best looking chicken meal I’ve ever seen!
Nice to see you again 🤗🤗🤗
Watch lots of camping KZreadrs but your cooking ones are simply the best around everyone else just does pilot noodles or burgers great to see such variety.
Don't go losing that coat or we will have to get Simon to sew some name tapes in for you lol
Fabulous Andy, it's always nice to keep fings civilized , cheers 🥂 👍🧡💚 luv the blankie.
See what I mean, even when you’re not feeling well, you keep going!! Excellent camp, cook, and shelter build🙌👍 Feel better!!👊
Please go back to this spot. It’s so freaking cool. Love your videos Andy!
Good to see you enjoying your meals. Simple pleasures 😊
wow i love this shelter you make lighting a fire so easy even useing a match i am useless nice to hear the owls
You really the coolest cat kent!! How cool is it that you get to use your skills while making money and enjoying nature. Pure genius!! I admire you greatly!
Pathfinder, self-reliance outfitters, has a 48 oz coffee press ,that'll nest with their 64 oz water bottle. I had a extra water bottle, so I ordered the French press . I'll set my grinder for a bit corse than I do for the kitchen drip pot,
I LOVE to see the stretch of the stream near where you do many of your adventures! That also seems like the most eco-friendly method I have seen for collecting moss! Bannock and biscuit both benefit from suet. My go-to is the Atora brand from Brittain.
Opposite, almost, here at high mountain desert forest (pinion, cedar, juniper, scub oak) plateau hideout NM. Bit of snow lately. Green chilie something for dinner. Thanks,!
If I had my own woodland I'd never be in my house. 😅😊❤
Mmmmmm were they sausages good Andy🤤, great video brother, cheers. 👍👍👍🏴🏴🏴🍺🍺🍺
Love your videos❤ my favourite to watch in the mornings. Still can’t get over the fact that you can cook and eat right by where you sleep…I’m from BC Canada, lol.
Was wondering where you were. We all miss you when you miss putting a video out. Hope your starting to feel allot better. Curious: Does allot of your camping areas have a policy of "leave no trace"? Or do you just leave your areas fully set up to reuse later? I am amazed at your cooking skills. Nice job you do. Take care and stay safe out there.
That's a pretty substantial shelter, you had a plentiful supply of suitable long straight branches & moss in those woods!
Love watching your videos, very relaxing after a long day at work. Some of those meals you cook look delicious 😋 seems like you are a better cook than l. Blanca your viewer from California ..
Merry Christmas 2023. Yours is just the video for this morning.
Just started watching and your birthday livestream popped up in announcements so HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY from a very cold snowy Saskatchewan Canada. Bless your day
Pretty neat Andy. Hope you’re feeling better !
Really loving the chill feel in your videos, the camera footage you capture has a lovely visual quality to it as well
Andy if that pack gets any bigger you are going to need a cart ! 👍🏻 Thanks Brother!
i see the flinches when you eat. haha. you're like me. can't wait for something to cool down enough before you eat it.
Full moon was beautiful
What a beautiful part of the world you get to play in 😍
The bestest video’s are those
That is a really neat saw.
I keep seeing these videos of beautiful rolling areas of moss being used to make awesome looking shelters. Me looking out in my local forests: Lychen as far as the eye can see, and not a spot of moss 😢🤣
