I’m a 76 year old grandma and I live alone. I like watching this channel when I go to sleep. Not so alone then ! 😄 I guess I go to sleep with Kent!

Something you might consider: often at elk camp I would dig a hole, put coals in the bottom, then the dutch, then more coals on top-- then cover it with earth and go about my day. You could have started the meal this way, finished your project, and dinner would have been ready. Thanks for the vid-- love following you and Simon.

As I watched you carry the stones for the fire ring (at 12:05) it brought back a memory from when I was a teenager. I was on a deer hunting trip with my dad. I decided that I wanted to sit on the ground with my back against a tree. I looked for and found a fairly large flat rock for a seat. Because of the weight just picked it up and held the dirt side against my belly to carry it to the tree. When I dropped it at the foot of the tree there were six scorpions clinging to the face of the rock that I had held against me. Luckily the weather was cool so I guess they were not real active. My jacket was off and was being shaken out just from my body trembling. No incident but it was sure a learning lesson about about picking up rocks. No deer but one turkey that trip. Keep up the great content.

Hey man I really like your contents, I really like the building, crafting and cooking stuff. This guy is legit unlike the other Bushcraft and off grid content creators with porn-ish thumbnails. Keep it real man and more power to your channel.

Laughed out loud when you pulled out half a cow, the next shot felt like bonfire night when I was a kid and then you cracked open a step 2, diamond geezer, thinking of brekky already, man after my own heart 😆. Bye the way, your editing is now, officially, the bollox, well done Andy 👍

good alternative to a cooked breakfast.. probably better to dissolve the stock cube first.. mine didnt quite mix all the way

Id sleep whilst dinner cooked then be awake half of the night. A grand shelter, well done, looked so cosy, a hearty supper your just reward 👌 PS. I like that you don't waffle🙂

I lived in a log shelter for 6 months had a wood burner inside a makeshift put-up bed for the roof after the moss I put a tarp over nice and cozy. I love the build video's and has given lots of ideas about what I could create in my next adventure

I feel sorry for you having to sleep on the hard ground after working all day! Your breakfast was the first meal so far that I don't think I could have eaten! The making of a proper log cabin. Can always raise the roof with time. I followed someone past hence that built an actually shed in the woods and called it a cabin. Love your channel

Its a great change from the norm.. my stock didnt really disolve as much as it should have.. should have mixed it with warm water first

You need a pathfinder pantry bag with metal screw top tins , carry dried veggies and spices in . Love mine , got it at self-reliance outfitters. Keeps everything organized and in its place
