Soft And Delicious Orange Cookies Made With Orange Juice! My mom made these delicious cookies every holiday season along with other cookie recipes throughout the years and I thought to share these with you! You can double this recipe too. Once these cookies are made the flavor keeps improving with each passing day. They store well and travel well too! They're very easy to make and I guarantee they won't last long once you try the first one! Peace Love And Tasty Eats!
Glazed Orange Juice Cookies
3 1/2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon orange extract (if not available, use lemon extract)
3/4 cup oil
Oven 350 degrees F
Bake 15-20 minutes or until firm and base of cookies are light to medium golden brown
Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 tablespoon grated orange rind
If glaze is too thin once mixed, add more powdered sugar, a tablespoon at a time. If icing is too thick, add more orange juice, a tablespoon at a time.
To decorate, you can sprinkle a little more orange zest on top of the cookies while the glaze is still wet.

Love your quick & easy cookies, all the ones I’ve seen so far. Your instructions are nice & clear. Now, re: not taking in a video: Actually Tina, hearing a little is good almost more personable. Doesn’t have to be constant talking, but I don’t know about other ppl, but I’ll watch a video w a voice, every time over those “No Talky” I just assume, in the “No Talky” videos, the person can’t speak English, so their cooking techniques will be unfamiliar & I’ll screw-up the recipes 😆 I’m subscribing now, you seem to cook & bake with ease. Good recipe choices.

Thanks, Deni! While growing up, my dear mother would wake up at 4:00 AM around the holidays to start baking her wonderful variety of cookies so she could distribute full plates to families, neighbors and friends. She would actually bake hundreds of cookies! I love sharing her recipes and others I’ve collected throughout the years. I will consider your input on the talking subject. I base my ingredient measurements from an 8 ounce cup and specify how much to use from the cup in the video and the measurements in the description box of the recipe. I hope this helps. If you need any more information, please don’t hesitate to ask :)
