Orange Cookies using the whole orange! This Turkish-style classic cookie is well-known in bakeries in Turkey. Also famous as an "Anne kurabiyesi" (mom's cookies)
Ingredients for Turkish Orange Cookies:
1 whole orange
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp yogurt (optional)
100gr. butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 orange rind (to give extra flavor)
1 tsp leveled baking soda
about 4 cups flour (add gradually after 3+1/2 until it is playable)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup walnuts
more granulated sugar for coating
