I love the little pause that Leon does with Kev's gun, holding it trained on his head before continuing to lower the arm. Like, not only are you going to have to go through me to get to him, but you training a piece on Franklin is the same thing as if you pulled a gun on me. No question where his loyalty is, and he doesn't have to say a word.

Wow! I noticed that Peaches started off well groomed and dressed, but over time his style of dressing diminished and his hair wasn't neatly braided anymore nor did he sport the neat afro as he once did in his 1st appearance, and earlier seasons. So in hind sight we saw his addiction silently progress but NO1 was paying attention😱🥺🤯😢

Leon’s scene is my favorite scene. We seen glimpses of his connection to Franklin but this really displayed his love and explained a lot of his loyalty throughout the show.

Two things...the name of the episode "Jingle Bell Rocks" is speaking on the holiday season for sure but also alluding back to the "Rocks" that Franklin is selling and what they are calling the product.... second the "Snowfall" title at the beginning of each season is a prelude to what the season is geared around and after each episode it shows the deterioration of the title, symbolizing the destruction of the game that everyone is involved in " Every season the title is fresh but slowly is being destroyed

this dialogue 15:06 hits SOO much harder after seeing how shit unfolded 🤦🏾‍♂️

Enjoying these breakdowns. Not sure if you ever noticed it but there was a scene in either Season 2 or 3.... whichever season after Singleton passes away... so probably 3. But they were walking through one of the black projects and there was this li'l corny dude with glasses, filming them in the background as they were walking. They eventually saw him and hemmed him up and sent him running. I always thought that was intended to be a young Singleton and they put in the scene as an homage because we never see the character again. I like how you highlight the changes in the "Snowfall" image in the intro through each season. I never noticed it was changing throughout the season itself. It's interesting to note that in each instance there is burning/destruction taking place.

In the serpentine episode breakdown I noticed that when you said there’s some snakes in the grass the focus may have been on oso but the actual light was shined on Pedro and Lucia. Don’t know if that was on purpose or not but great point man!

And when 'Javie' tells Franklin that he's growing like weeds, he was actually talking about weeds in the grass and how weeds grows fast and gets cut, so he ultimately was saying that he wouldn't last long

Yo bro just a little advice. If your doing a season by season recap don't mention anything about something happening or foreshadowing to a season after the season your currently talking about. Most people that look up specific season recaps haven't finished the show. I had to click off 2mins into your vid because you keep referencing "stuff to come" or " or something you talked about in a future season

When you see Franklin taking out the trash after the break in notice that was the same exact way he was dressed in the final episode wife beater and brown tan pants except it wasn't tattered like in the final episode that's pretty cool full circle

In season one I think it was mentioned that Franklin was 19. Most likely the pilot. So when season two started and Mel gave him the birthday letter he turned 20. A 20 y/o that was sleeping with a high school aged girl.
