Watching back... when Louie was speaking about Leon "turning his back on us" .... everything she was saying was literally speaking about herself which comes out later

Leon easily the best character on Snowfall. I thought it was just me being able to relate to him but you confirmed it

I think Matt passing was a key factor to Teddy's spiral. The way he finds out from his estranged father. How his father blames him. And it was without a doubt Teddy's fault. The Columbians forced Matt to do so many drugs I thought he was going to die then.

I rewatched this series completely 4 times this is one of the greatest most realistic shows ever made just the rise of Franklin is incredible one crackhead in Oakland changed his whole life

Man boy givin up his people was a ploy so he could get close to the organization with Franklin…. Think about it, the guy he gave up was just a driver who actually did wut Manbou asked.. The other two got out of line and overstepped but since there was a shoot out they needed him gone as get back for the attack… He was expendable and it would show loyalty so it was a win win…

Dude.... when you said, at 12:19, "you can tell he's thinking heavily about his surroundings and his circumstances," that was a spot-on evaluation. When I watched the first run of this episode, I interpreted as him not being able to look in the eyes of someone he still felt as his equal, knowing that - if not for the drug game - he'd have not only been working a job like that, but would've appreciated it. The writing behind Franklin and the way Idris plays it out on screen is so multilayered and interpretable, and I think you hit this nail so squarely on the head that no one could pull it back out.

My biggest beef with this show be that it cant go "black" 100 percent. Like, they had ideas of makinf franklin bi sexual after his stint in jail. They had a story line where frankilin approaches lee and tries to be romantic which we wouldve seen lee and frank show true emotion. Thug love. Then show how some people be jealous so it causes jealousy in the ranks. I read one scene that wouldve shown lee and frank pleausring eqch other at same time (69) and teddy catches them and threatens to expose franklin if teddy cant get some action from lee as well. But they dropped it. They did this bc it showed true black emotion. So of course white america cut the idea. How white of them #BlackLivesMatter
