I've had to give up the desire. There isn't enough love from Smiths to go around.

Great review! I have been back and forth with my smiths Everest on if I should sell it but I put it on a new strap and it feels like a new watch! Happy I kept it.

Almost grabbed a new one v3 (used ) this week but missed it...my hesitation over 36mm cost me the watch (this time!)...might keep looking, not sure. It's 36 but the actual dial seems much less, like 33-34 no? Good review, thanks

I measured the sapphire crystal at 29.5mm. Hopefully you have better luck on the next try. And they even fixed the clasp issues on the newer versions.

It was awhile ago now but if I remember correctly it took about 2 weeks. They go on sale when they have them in stock it just takes awhile for shipping and customs. Oh and you might see the packaging opened or damaged.

Cheapest but hardest way is to go through the time factors website when they open. You have to be ready though. The easiest but more expensive way would be to buy it on eBay.

Not trying 2 be a jerk. I wanted one of these, got frustrated, I'm not trying hard to buy something, I'm trying 2 give you money man... So I got a sterile dial San Martin version. The bracelet taper, finishing and clasp is amazing on that watch. And it's an NH35. I couldn't be happier with it honestly. Especially for the $AUD$

Yup, these things sellout out in a few seconds, so it is a hunt. Quickest way to pick one up would be to go on eBay, but they usually go for above the factory price.

Good review - but a suggestion would be to clean your watch/hands before recording a video. Looks like you dipped your hands in olive oil before the shoot.

Saw the newsletter for the shop opening, I passed on wanting to get anything this sale period. But saw it was 5mins past 2pm UK opening time so hopped on to see that the store was already closed due to order fulfilment! The mad dash is real.

@@royaltyftw8209 i literally had the the watch in my cart and before I could finish putting my credit card info in it said sold out smh. It shouldn’t be that way whoever has the watch in their cart should get the opportunity to pay for it. He needs to come up with a better process of ordering the watch. I don’t understand why he can’t just leave the website open at all times and just fulfill the orders as he gets the watches in stock instead of this ridiculous method of buying the watch.

To be honest, I am sick and tired of continuously missing out due to Timefactors f’ing ridiculous order process. I played these games with Lorier for about a year until they finally saw the light and has a release date and a waiting list. I swore I would never, ever get into this situation again, but having failed numerous times to get a Smiths Everest, I now give up and will move on. It’s just not worth the stress and disappointment! BE WARNED!!!

  • @thewatchverdict

Haha, the answer to that is men that aren’t trying to compensate for anything. No but seriously, 36 is a classic size, unless you have more than a 8” wrist then you would need something bigger.

Up until the 80s, some military issued watches are 33mm, I suppose those kind of men (and women). I know women who wear full size Omega Planet Oceans and Daytonas. Wear what you like.
