Here's a first hand report with local information about the Skyline community, a contemporary new housing development located in the Plum Canyon area of Santa Clarita.

First, Skyline is somewhat secluded, yet close enough to local conveniences, schools, the fire department and more. It's surrounded by 1,600 acres of natural designated open space with miles of trail systems.
Skyline is currently made up of 7 neighborhoods called Luna, Lyra, Sola, Celestia, Mystral, Starling and the Altis 55 Plus community. Luna, Lyra and Sola were built by Pardee Homes while TriPointe Homes built the rest.
Skyline consists of a variety of single family homes ranging in size from 1,511 SF up to over 4,300 SF. The smaller homes come with 2 bedrooms and the largest with as many as 7. Of course, there are plenty of 4, 5 and 6 bedroom homes as well.
If looking for a nice one or two story model with an open floor plan and a 2 car garage, be sure check out the homes in the Celestia or Luna. There are also some terrific homes in Sola with flexible spaces like lofts, dens and bonus rooms. If you need extra space, the homes in Lyra, Mystral and Starling run quite large. Some with up to 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a garage large enough to fit 4 cars! Others even come with a special flex or NextGen space!
As the Skyline community name implies, some homes even have amazing skyline views.
When it comes to amenities Skyline is tough to beat! There's plenty of fun for everyone at the well appointed Skyline clubhouse called The Lookout! There's a playground, swimming pool, splash pad, hot tub, Bocce Ball, barbecue grills, fitness center and more. Active adults living in Altis enjoy their own private amenities at the Vuepoint. Then, don't forget the miles of trails, perfect for a lovely evening stroll or a healthy morning hike. There's even a Butterfly Park nearby the Lookout.
Keep in mind, there are plans in place to build a new elementary school and county park near the base of the community. It's just a short drive to local shopping and dining at Skyline Ranch Plaza.
