I gotta say, I think it was good that Tom dodged the questions regarding his relationship with Bill. It's important to save face, especially while you're still in the league. Maybe he can be brutally honest when he retires, same goes for Bill on Tom. But as far as Tom wanting to play still, it's no surprise. This sport is addictive and fun. It's disappointing that he still decided to play because he's already left a "great" legacy but he should be caring for his family right now by being there for them. He's done amazing financially but all the money in the world can't raise good children and it can't bring certain happiness into a relationship. He has nothing to prove right now, even if he thinks he's trying to show he can win without Bill...

Aloha all the way from Oahu, Hawaii...during COVID-19! We are doing fine here and it’s so AWESOME to watch and here, both Shannon and Skip, to dispute the ALL TIME GOAT, TB-12! Shannon is GREAT...so smart and so funny at the same time! Skip is also so SMART and funny...but I love skip and what his “come-back” comments and facts...on the GOAT! Skip is right on spot, he’s been watching everyone in the NFL for a very long time...so I trust his detailed assessments of the GOAT. He has been there from the beginning, reporting and watched TB-12 and a whole lot of other super great quarterbacks, that also was super awesome...but TB-12, is something really special on all this additional accomplishments! Thank you both for all your due diligence in what you both are so great in brining to KZread! Mahalo...from Hawaii!

Everyone acts like Belichik has all this time left and is looking down the road 5-7 years to keep the Patriots viable. He is 68 years old! He doesn't have many years left. He wants to win right now, and for whatever reason, he feels like he can win right now without Brady's huge salary request and that money being allocated elsewhere on the roster. Also, maybe Bill's hubris took over and he wants to prove to everyone he can win without Brady? Big risk if that is what he's thinking.

Concerning money. Just to have Brady on the field sells a lot of tickets. People come to the stadium to see a legend. Thus, win or lose, having Brady on the field at this point sells a lot of tickets and money in the Patriots coffer. That way Kraft can afford more massages in Miami. The Bucs will see an increase in revenue, as fans will flock to the stadium to see the GOAT.

But let's not act like all that matters is rings when it comes to MJ and Bron, but when it comes to Russell and MJ, it doesn't matter anymore. I hate to admit this, but looking back now that The Bucs won a Super Bowl, Skip was 100% right. Brady had a running game with Fournette. He had Scotty Miller (aka Julian Edelman). He had the deep threats to Evans and Godwin. He had Gronk. It took a little while, but Brady mastered that system, especially in the playoffs. I’m a die hard Packers fan, but Brady is the GOAT. He knows how to fuel a locker room. Plus, he’s really bleeping good. He just doesn’t lose big games(mostly). I hate that he wins all the time, but I can’t deny his greatness. He’s the best quarterback ever. Hands down. He ripped my heart out when he beat Green Bay. But hey, he’s a master at his craft. He will play at an elite level until he’s 46.

Bruce Arians and Tampa lets not forget that they have two great TEs. Plus two deep threats. So Arians offense will still push the ball down the field. But also he will adjust accordingly. In fact all this talk about how Arians offense is all push the ball downfield. I know he is smart enough to use that perception and expand his playbook. In such. A way that will catch teams off guard

If Belichick wanted Brady out a few years ago he wouldn't have laughed at Lynch from SF when he asked about trading for Brady. He wanted to keep Brady on 1 year deals while keeping Garoppolo.

I think he was honest about the whole situation. He’s a competitor. This is a new challenge and plus he may not say it but I think he does want to win one without Belichick and Belichick wants to win without him. They have 6 rings. It’s like a relationship, if you don’t do things to spice it up it gets stale. This is great for the NFL to have the greatest competitors as in Player and Coach with a new hunger/motivation to win.

Shannon "Come on man" Belichick has given Brady less and less on offense ever since Craft over rode him on getting rid of Tom. Brady was still carry each year. Now that Tom has an all star offense he is going to be putting up top numbers this year. I fully expect Tom to put up numbers like he did in 2011.

Skip reminds me of the professors and instructors I had in college who are ‘experts’ and teach things ‘by the book’. That only these procedures work and follow things by the numbers. However, after getting out and dealing with real people and real life situations you realize that those procedures and rules are more guidelines and that things work differently then in a book. Shannon on the other hand is trying to explain to Skip how things work in the real life from his experiences, but Skip says, ‘NO, the books say this!’. My money is on Shannon’s take not Skips!

He didn't go upstairs, he went around the corner. Kraft lives just around the corner from him. In fact, in order to get to Toms's house, he need to cross Jonathan Kraft's house lot. The easement was granted by the Krafts. They were a lot closer than Skip wants to admit but he probably doesn't know. Skip doesn't understand Brady's personality. Brandy wasnt taking the high road, he was Tom. Humble and self-aware. No ducking or dodging.
