Guess Brady wasn’t only one feeling no fun playing with Billy 😂 With Bucs playoff history Tom would still be goat winning nothing at his age, but hey a wildcard playoff appearance with Bucs history would be amazing. These expectations of a 43 year old out of prime for new team and system ... to make SB = ludicrous Brady does get more credit though to me than Billy. Belichick can win with any QB? Yet had decent guys like Kosar, Testaverde, Bledsoe. No Super Bowls with them. 36-44 with Browns...a 5 win season with Bledsoe. TB12 might be too old and out of prime at 43 in a new system, but whatever happens opinion not changing. Respect that he came back just to play knowing he could have walked away risk free legacy. 🐐 Drew Bledsoe is a former number 1 pick. 4x pro bowler, threw for 44,611 yards and 251 tds. Yet.... Bill couldn’t win till Brady. Cassel did not make the playoffs, so no don’t shoehorn that in here. The point is about QB’s that Bill as a Head Coach made it to Super Bowl with. Only one TB12.🎤

10 months later, bucs are champs. gronk scored 2 touchdowns in the super bowl and had a solid regular season

Skip was so close. He said 12-4 for TB and 8-8 for NE. He was off by 1 game in both cases. 11-5 for TB 7-9 for NE

The dude was the best TE in the league 2 years ago and is still young. He’ll be just fine.

Honestly I think we are all missing a potential setup that keeps Gronk off every play and keeps both Tampa Tight Ends. Gronk out wide or part of packages for runs. Now bear with me on putting a potential all time TE on the outside... Who is going to man up on him? You will be able to have outside shoulder one on one all day if he is manned up one on one in a pass game. If they do zone they need to ensure he isn't sitting down in the middle as a GIANT area of potential receptions, he is slow but passes can be thrown high if he kept his jump height for catches. If you need extra protection time or an outlet, pull him toward the line to cover or be outlet. For run packages if you want to ABSOLUTEY DEVASTATE the DE or linebacker to cover a toss or in some counters and let a smaller motion wide out or God forbid a pulling lineman pick up the dback to spring it lose, he can do that better than just about any tight end, his blocking was criminally underrated by most sports fans, but the analysts caught that and is a huge part of why he ranks so highly. Gronk is not just a tight end, he is a lineman or a wide receiver if you need him to be depending on what you want to run. Against the chiefs he lined up outside a few times because they weren't getting anywhere, and suddenly you find it hard to cover a man that size which opens up the middle because people had to shift over, even if just a step or two, to be ready for an outside pass to Gronk. Thing is unlike NE you have legitimate 1on1 winning wideouts and not just one of the best slot receivers of all time. You put a speedywideout on the other side of the field, one who can beat his man every so often, with Gronk on opposite side of field with other TEs in the game for short dumps or outlets, and what do you try to shut down for the Buccs? What do you take away? Tom eats blitzes alive, the ONLY way Buccs will struggle is if the line fails against normal pressure as Tom is incapable of leaving the pocket and the Buccs run game is weak. But if you don't have a great dline that can win short handed, the Buccs are starting to look terrifying from a passing perspective. Now if only Fournette would switch Florida teams...one can dream.

Watching SS in 2022 even after TB12 is done with Football (For now) is excruciatingly satisfying..
