I'm a 78 year old retired vocal coach & guitar teacher, singer/songwriter, and performer. Discovering Dimash has resurrected my old musical spirit. I now realize that my ideas about the boundaries of music are being shattered by younger artists arriving on the scene. Dimash was a child prodigy who began piano and vocal training at age 5. He now is 26 and has earned a B.A. in Classical Voice & an M.A. in Contemporary Voice. He was blessed with an extraordinary vocal instrument. He has a 6 octave range. He truly is a phenomenon.

DImash has BA in Classical singing and minors and Masterclass certifications in Contemporary singing , Broadway, Jazz, Pop... He completed his Masters in Music composition with the highest honors this summer, and has started in his Doctorate program in Musicology this fall.

He is a lyrical singer, graduated in contemporary music, has a master's degree in composition and is pursuing a doctorate in musicology because, like you, he is also interested in teaching. Multi-instrumentalist, he speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) Russian, English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. Sing in 12 languages. He has received countless awards. He appeared as a foreign guest at the "I am a singer" contest in China 2017 and although he did not win first place but second, the day after the first TV broadcast he captured 600 million followers, "dears" (that's what he calls his fans). He's just 26 years old. He continues to garner admirers around the world and although he suspended the international tour "Arnau" due to the pandemic, he has continued to create, record, make specific presentations and receive important awards. Initially I thought it will be normal to listen to him being as normal Kazakh person. But then Dimash started to grow, grow and all his performances at Voice in China made me personally to follow him every day that time and I really now got sick of listening to him, especially when he sings in native mother Kazakh language. You become so happy and proud that there is a person who really attracts all people around the world by his powerful voice. My journey to Dimash world started from listening to his all performances and ended up now watching and seeking for vocal coach reactions to Dimash all over the world!!! His lowest and highest notes to date are A1 to D8. This performance was in 2018, he’s even better today! His lower registers are so much better! Please bear in mind he didn’t speak English in 2017 (he’s quite good now), so he had to learn the song phonetically in a week. It’s an absolutely amazing performance!

He even exeeds the female saprano register too... His highest live hitting note is D8 which is out of the Piano... And notes like F#7, G7 are pretty normal to him while going down to F1... Just keep watching him, you'll find out

wonderful watching you watching Dimash! I'm 1 year AD (after Dimash) and I listen to him everyday. He is the light in my life and I'm so grateful to be alive and witnessing our own Renaissance Man in this century. Like Michaelangelo was in his time called Il Divino (the devine one) I have no qualms giving the same honor and recognition to our glorious and breathtaking Dimash. btw I bawled like a baby for 3 days locked in my room, watching everything I could find, reading, listening and I was a changed person. BD (before Dimash) I had fallen into a dark place, lost hope and couldn't see a way out of my messy life. But I'm moving on, and looking forward to my next 50 yrs.
