    Yes we've been waiting and it's been worth it because you can never hear him enough times. Your ear is drawn to perfection by his voice more than anybody else's. It's just wild. So you have to keep going and you have to see some of his new stuff and share with us because our Jaws still drop.

    The man in the white shirt applauding at the end is Igor Krutoy, this is the first time he saw Dimash, and asked him after the show if he (Igor) could compose for Dimash. They are now a team. Igor came out of retirement to compose for Dimash. He found a voice like no other and it allows him to compose music that no one else on the planet can sing. Normally if you see Igor at the piano, he composed that song for Dimash. G.O.T. you are a "Dear" now. Your enthusiasm for Dimash is crystal clear, so get a Dimash hat and wear it proudly. Funny thing, how is it that the US music industry isn't playing Dimash's music? Are they embarrassed by our US performers?

    I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my KZread recommendations for more than a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation," and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera, vocal students, professional singers, and music producers. I just came across your channel (and subscribed). Like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, delivery, and stage presence. Here is some information about Dimash. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, but more specifically, he is a native Kazakh. Kazakhs are a separate indigenous people from regular Kazakhstanis. They are the original Nomad tribes from the steppes; some still live as nomadic people. Dimash is a direct descendant and lives traditionally with his extended family, and they keep all the cultural traditions. It is custom that the firstborn son of a family is given to a set of grandparents to raise for at least 10 years. Dimash was entrusted to his paternal grandparents, and they raised him and instilled confidence in him. They raised him to believe that God had a great plan for him, and he should pursue it and dedicate himself to that plan with his entire being. When Dimash was five years old, he pointed out to his grandparents that the piano was out of tune, and they immediately realized what that plan was. They decided to enroll him in the best children's music school, and thanks to Dimash's parents' relative fame, he was accepted. There he took piano lessons, started singing, and was found to have perfect pitch. His family was determined to afford him every opportunity; there was no room for slack, and Dimash's personality and character enabled him to dedicate himself entirely to his craft. We are now enjoying the fruits of that labor. Dimash is university-educated with degrees in classical/Opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master's class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music." He graduated with Honors, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now, and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path, and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 13 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin, which he says is a challenging language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. He usually performs for more than two hours during his live concerts and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. According to some analysts, his range is over 7 octaves (A1-D8), spanning across all four registers. As many probably know, the four registers, from lowest to highest, are vocal fry (pulse), modal voice, falsetto, and flageolet (whistle tone), and Dimash seems to effortlessly navigate between them, often within a single breath and without a break in between. Dimash has even hit a D8 for ~5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during any live performance. He sings in multiple musical genres. His primary genre is classical crossover, but he also sings classical music (bel canto), pop, and world music. He uses musical elements, vocal styles, and techniques of many other genres, including jazz, rock (e.g., screams), RnB, musical theater, even rap, and Tribal and Middle Eastern styles (Arabic melismas), which are technically very distinctive and very difficult to master. I am looking forward to your subsequent reaction. Beware, some Dimash fans can be a little overzealous in their defense of Dimash against any perceived criticism.

    "The song Sinful Passion, was first performed in 1998 by the Kazakh group A’STUDIO and gained leading positions in the CIS charts. Sinful love soon visibly materialized in the clip with soloist Batyrkhan Shukenov. The talented vocalist left the band in 2000. Without the lead singer, “Sinful Passion”, recorded with the help of an English producer, lay in obscurity for nearly 20 years, never becoming a worldwide hit until Baigali Serkebaev seized it. He offered Dimash to play it in 2018, twenty years after its premiere. The words of the song are the inspiration of the famous poet and composer, People's Artist of Russia and Ukraine Ilya Reznik. Group A - Studio in 2018 celebrated its 30th anniversary. For his great contribution to the development of the culture of the republic, Baigali Serkebaev was awarded the title of Honored Art Worker of Kazakhstan (here he plays the keyboard). Dimash can be safely called a magician. By the power of his voice and talent, the composition about sinful love came to life out of nowhere."

    If G.O.T., Dimash is the "Holy Grail" of music, it is excellence and the next level. Dears of all nationalities and ages will come to you to watch your action and sign up for your channel. Here I leave you information about this song, its history, and an example of how Dimash's ingenuity can transform a normal song into a hit 20 years after it was composed. By the way, the man in the white shirt in the front row who claps his feet to Dimash after the presentation is over, is the most famous Russian composer, pianist and billionaire "Igor Krutoy", who after seeing this presentation decides to come out of retirement when he sees the Dimash's immense talent, and now they constantly go on gigs together and he is composing music for Dimash especially for Dimash's voice range, eg OLIMPICO, STRANEGR, AVE MARIA: and others, all masterpieces. For those who like information about Dimash's songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash reinvigorated the song (originally this song was sung in two octaves and Dimash takes it to 5 Octaves Vocal range). In addition, he added the final part, with an oriental technique (where he makes a particular sound by rapidly vibrating his voice, which is the traditional way of some oriental countries to mourn their dead, in this case the original singer). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the name of the band is A'Studio (Russia-based Kazakh pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The deceased singer (of whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboard player, which we see in the accompanying video with Dimash. Greetings from Panama.

    Lamentation stylizations or laments are not the traditional way of some oriental countries to mourn their dead, but in many musical cultures around the world, it is atavistic, used sometime as a part of weding (or regret for a loved one at all). Dimash uses this expression as part of his love story in this song, not as a lamentation to the original singer - which is meaninglessly repeated since some time.

  • @rodrigorra3153

    @rodrigorra3153

    @@e.kuffelt6341 I never said that Dimash used this as a lament to the original singer, it's more of a tribute to the original singer that Dimash was a fan of. That's in the story behind this song. Thanks for the input.

  • @e.kuffelt6341

    @e.kuffelt6341

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@rodrigorra3153 It is not a tribute to the original singer, but a fragment of a song interpreted by Dimash (in this A'Studio concert there were a dozen of them, including one of Dimash. The whole concert was related to the 30th anniversary of this band), the song telling about love, lost love, the need of which becomes a sinful passion - hence in this part a folk lament (stylized onomatopoeia) - about loss, and before that, enchantment with a wonderful song (operatic countertenor), and then the final rock scream (give me), but in vain.

    Light and sound frequency modulate the vibration of people's energy field. Dimash has a "multifequencial and multivibrational" sound signature. This sound vibration emits light, touches people's hearts, altering the entire vibrational and frequency field. These vibrational and frequency waves awaken in the core of our soul cognitive abilities harmonizing, balancing and modulating the perfect interaction between all cells, atoms and quantum particles of the physical, mental and spiritual body. No one is indifferent to seeing and hearing Dimash in his fullness as a "superhuman" who is shaking up and awakening a new race of human beings. Listening to and seeing Dimash's performances we discover the best in us, witnessing the symmetrical beauty that lies in his physical appearance and his artistry. He heals our loneliness and lack of high feelings and the beautiful in our lives. Long live, perfect health and prosperity to our Avatar.

    Welcome to the family of Dears. Sinful Passion was originally written and performed in 1998 by a Russian-based Kazakh band called A-Studio. They accompanied Dimash for this performance and at the end of the performance, Dimash humbly thanked A-Studio. The gentleman in white who gave him a standing ovation is Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer, who's written several amazing songs for Dimash. The interesting vocal style Dimash used towards the end of the song is called a vocal trill which is a classical technique and is the least familiar of the vocal manoeuvers. A singer with an even, rapid trill is a rarity. The director of the Rossini Opera Festival, Alberto Zedda has opined in an interview that the "widespread technical deficiency", the inability to trill, is a source of "frustration and anguish". Dimash modified the traditional vocal trill by adding a Yakuti yodel technique to it and he did it to perfection. It’s wonderful that he’s introduced this classical technique into a pop song for the benefit of the non-classical world.

    This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. FYI, Dimash did not win “The Voice” in China. He took part in an invite-only competition in 2017 for established professional and successful singers, which is called “I Am A Singer.” The competition consists of 14 rounds, lasts almost 4 months, and competitors are eliminated throughout the season. Every performance is live, and no lip-syncing or auto-tune is permitted. Pure unadulterated vocal ability only. Dimash finished the competition in 2nd place. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZreadr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts. It is as good or better because you can hear certain parts clearer and the camera stays on him most of the time. Here is the link, in case you want to watch it. He is consistently perfect. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dH6YtJeaeN2pkbA.html

    OK, so a few things you might want to know: The guy in the white shirt who starts the standing ovation at the end, that’s Igor Krutoy, a great Russian composer. Krutoy was semi retired at the time but he came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Songs like Ogni Pietra, Ave Maria, Stranger, Love of Tired Swans-all Krutoy, who writes specifically for Dimash’s range and skills. You’re in for some good stuff! And if you’re looking for other folks you probably haven’t heard, you should check out Voiceplay. Start with The Dragonborn Comes-it’s a song out of the game Skyrim. I think you’ll enjoy it. Also Halo Theme. I hope you haven’t heard them yet so I can see your first time reaction!

    I may have already posted this to your previous reaction. If I did, just disregard it. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of Dimash's talent and ability. He has continued to hone his skills and do fine-tune and perfect his already unbelievable abilities even more. There does not seem to be a limit to what he can achieve vocally. I am excited to follow his journey. Dimash will possibly go down in history as the greatest vocal talent known to man. I cannot think of anyone, past or present, capable of doing what Dimash is capable of. I am still waiting on someone to name a single individual even remotely close to Dimash's talent. If you want to follow Dimash's career progression over the last five years, here is a song list I usually recommend in semi-chronological order: SOS (d'un Terrien en détresse), either the Slavic Bazaar or the 2017 "I Am A Singer" version. His covers from the same competition of Lara Fabian's "Adagio," Eric Carmen's 1975 "All by Myself" (repopularized by Celine Deion) and Freddie Mercury's "The Show Must Go On." Also, from the same show, Confessa & Diva Dance, Opera 2, Daididau, Daybreak, and Autumn Strong. His "I Am A Singer" 2018 guest performance of Lionel Richie's "Hello" is a must. Then there is Sinful Passion (Greshnaya Strast), Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Olimpico (Ogni Pietra) from Igor Krutoy's channel, Diva Dance (Bastau Concert), Across Endless Dimensions (either the movie trailer or his internet live concert performance), Ti Amo Cosi (with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina), Ulisse (Duet with Aida Garifullina), and Know (both the regular performance as well as the vocalise). His traditional and Chinese songs are also impressive: Adai+Daididau, Samal Tau (2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival), Qairan Elim (Holy Land), Elim Menin (My Homeland), Karagym-ai. And then there are Without You, Love Of Tired Swans, Where Love Lives, Unforgettable Day (Gakku Concert), I Miss You, Passione, Give Me Love, Marigold, Golden, Mademoiselle Hyde, Screaming, Tu Vas Me Détruire (duet with Sundet Baigojin), his latest music video "Be With Me," just to name a few. His latest songs, "Fly Away," "Stranger," and "Ave Maria," recently debuted live at New Wave 2021, and the latter two are on a whole new level. Dimash performs an alternate version of "Stranger" on the "Shine! Super Brothers S2" Youku Show that is simply mind-boggling and well-worth checking out. Then there is the release from the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival of "Ikanaide," which is absolutely incredible. He sings in almost flawless Japanese. Avoid any performance from "The World's Best" show/competition. The producers' conduct was disgraceful and unprofessional, and all performances were cut and edited to make room for commercials.

    Thank you for your reaction! Dimash’s talent is mind blowing 🤯 A'Studio was invited by Igor Krutoy to participate (individual concert) in the 2018 edition of the New Wave festival. Igor Krutoy, the man in white shirt giving his standing ovation, invited Dimash to participate in this festival in the same year. "Sinful Passion" was created in 1998. This is how the song was performed, exactly in the 20th anniversary of this song. It speaks of greater love, greater loss, greater despair, greater desire, greater passion. The loss or lack of this love, in Dimash's interpretation, has the dimension of a loss of life, which one is very anxious to restore. In place of the original purely pop instrumental part (inserts), Dimash included (after the last chorus) his vocalize, a stylized onomatopoeic (like a lament) eastern ornament and the words "дай мне, дай" (give me, give me) with a 23-second melismatic on the last syllable, which is not a simple substitute for a pop musical theme, but an extension of the story sung earlier in words. ❤️🎤🔝🌹🌹👏👏👏
