    I'm wondering why, with the demo of the two voices at the start of the video, you sang an 'aaah' vowel for true voice, and an 'eeeh' vowel for falsetto? Why not sing the same vowel sound for both? 🤔

    He's not transitioning between true voice and falsetto. He's putting a crying tone into the first note of "way". I have numerous videos on my channel regarding the crying technique. Please check them out. Hope this helps.

    Ha! This is what I mean! No comparison to meatloaf... that's an insult to John. He has a powerful rock voice too. But he also has power, projection, clarity and a pureness that is sooo rare. And it's so effortless!!! Sorry, but, meatloaf (may he RIP) never compared vocally even if he was a great performer. John had that in spades too. I am so sad I missed out on seeing him live. His performance with the MSO were just epic!

    Thank you for sharing these anecdotes. They support the peer reviewed science and large scale studies. SARS-CoV-2 is way worse than influenza as it causes inflammation across your entire body, it causes vascular damage and has been shown to cross the blood brain barrier and fuse your brain cells. As with any other virus it's never, ever a good idea to "push through" as you've advised. Rest and eating well is the best way to go until you're 100% Everyone who I've heard who has attempted to push through early including super fit MMA fighters have relapsed into long covid and sometimes nearly died. I believe someone has mentioned that antibiotics work if your viral infection develops into a bacterial infection - that's what antibiotics are for - bacterial infections. A viral infection alone will not respond to antibiotic treatment. Viruses require anti viral medication specifically formulated to stop a particular virus from replicating. Jon Bon Jovi has also spoken openly about the damage Covid-19 has done to his vocal chords. It's in his documentary on Disney+

    Can I ask you as a professional - some British dude reviewed John Farnham w the MSO and said he was a meatloaf wannabe (WTAF 😣) I know I'm a bit biased but I've watched meatloaf live when he was younger and, to me, there's no comparison. Is it just me or does he sound muffled when he sings? Then I think about the absolute clarity and projection and natural power of John without even trying! As a professional what are your thoughts on the comparison? Thank you! 🥰

  • @voxsingingacademy
    @voxsingingacademy3 күн бұрын

    No John Farnham and Meat Loaf have two completely different vocal delivery styles. Meatloaf is far more rock on his voice. John Farnham sings with more projection and less weight

  • @gigisplayground4657
    @gigisplayground46573 күн бұрын

    @@voxsingingacademy thank you. Again maybe my bias showing but regardless of style, there should still be technique. People like Jimmy Barnes and meatloaf appear to sometimes just let out uncontrolled screams that probably damage their vocal chords and to me they sound muffled which again - may not be the best on their vocal chords of the sound is stuck back in their throats? John can deliver a rock song as good as any! In his live version of "when the war is over" he delivers this gritty belt/scream/cry on "blown away" and the control is phenomenal 🥹🥲 I have never seen his voice crack or heard a bum note live. Occasionally but rarely he's been a tad flat I think - once amazing grace a capella. Barely detectable to most. He can definitely bring in the rock style and turn on that grit like a tap - playing to win, long way to the top, black dog etc.

    It was the first time ever she performed this song live! She was extremely cold that night too. You can see her literally shaking while performing "All by myself" that night. And now we're finding out that she was already dealing with the symptoms of SPS like 5 years before that specific show 🥺 What a trooper! We love you Celine! ❤️

    I think it's important to note that they often increase tempo when playing live. Your comments about Corey cutting words short to breathe is absolutely valid, but if you're listening to a live version, it's usually because the song is being played faster than in the studio. Just as a friendly tidbit of info. 😊

    i used to worship celebrities. as a 46 years old man from spain i was raised with black and white tv, only 2 channels. a third one in catalonian in 1985 until year 1995 where 3 low ethics channels were added. everyone who went to tv was seen by the entire country and became inmediatly famous. we were only passive watchers, listeners of whaever the radio and tv told us what to like, they brainwashed us. we took no action, as if those few celebrities were semigods. it was before the democratization of music production happened with home studios and the software free sharing on internet. no need anymore to go to bed with producers in order to be chosen to be the next star i.e. brad pitt. we have the tools, anyone can do it, and even better than, say, axl.

    Yes to the "live" performance, please. I would recommend "Watch The World Burn". He does a lot of rapping in this song, but he's astounding. Plus there is a section you will love (I guarantee it).😊 The thing about their live shows is how they work together flawlessly. It's nice to know that it's real talent, not an edited video. You talk about him having voice or piano lessons. I don't think they offer that in prison. When he was young h e brought brass knuckles to a fight that went wrong. His friend had brought a gun to the fight, as well as their opponent. The opponent died. His friend got off with self defense. Ronnie pled guilty for the brass knuckles, and ended up with 2 1/2 years in prison. Not fair to me, but Ronnie said it's the best thing that could've happened. He gained sobriety and started getting a band together (Falling In Reverse), so he hit the ground running when he got out. He has kept his sobriety through everything. He's is a person like everyone else. He's funny and so smart and insightful. He claims to be an ass...e, and I've seen it, but the other person comes at him first. I've never seen an instance where he was the aggressor but he can take you down with words if provoked. I think you should find out more about this man. I can't type it all here, but it will be eye-opening. I wonder if he is a savant. His dad is a biker and his mother is the epitome of an absent parent. I don't think he had much help with lessons if he had them. However, he's 40ish now, so maybe he has taken lessons himself. Oh, I almost forgot, this song was written in prison. Sorry about writing a book.

    The mic is always on but the slower songs are best to hear her vocals as she obviously makes more use of her backup singers and the backing track when she has more active choreography to do as well. She performs like 45 songs in the eras tour. Most popular favourite for the vocals would be Don't blame me. Yes she has a live band who's been with her for years. They come down front for a few songs like long live
