Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual teacher and author, born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of 29 a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. He devoted the next several years to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth-translated into over 52 languages-he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”, and Watkins Review has named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”
Eckhart’s profound, yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on awakening consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking, and can be seen as the next step in human evolution. In the awakened state of presence, we discover what Eckhart describes as our essential identity-who we are beneath the surface-and its power for transforming our selves and our world.

Suffering is why we are here, it is the trying to avoid suffering that is the real problem, fun seeking. That is the reason why, over the centuries, that countless millions of nuns and monks slept on the floor, ate porridge three times a day and gave up all earthly delights, they all understood this profound fact. There is now a wonderful heart and mind spiritual practice, Falun Dafa(The Great Way) that shows us a Way to seek Divinity and at the same time remain in society.

If you accept each moment as something you chose, I see how you are no longer a victim, which is good. But, you'll want to change your behavior to avoid suffering in the future, yet you can't control everything. Indeed, you may even resent your past self for having made the decisions that led to your present suffering. Thus, doesn't accepting the present as though you chose it open up a bunch of other problems?

Your level of consciousness will determine whether one should overcome the obstacle or continue with the pain and repeat the lesson over and over. Your True Authentic Self doesn't want you to to suffer, since it is a waste of energy. Your Ego craves and loves the suffering since it feels justified and blames the world telling it's personal story and it's problems.

But she doesn't ask anyone to see and understand the world the way she does. She just asks you to question your thoughts, to see if they're true or not. Eckhart Tolle does the same. And that's all you need. (Byron Katie says that being happy is still living in a dream, but it's a good dream, and nobody needs to be awakened from a good dream. But it can be a kindness to help someone awaken from a nightmare -- if they're seeking help to awaken from it, that is.) 😊💚

I didn't believe I could actually understand your teaching, but I kept reading and listening and practicing, until one day I could breath my anger out of my body in seconds! All of the sudden I realized that I am learning. Thank you for showing the way and for being so patient with us to understand and hear your words from the depth of our unconsciousness.

Nonsense, people have a great aversion to thinking and that is exactly why this world is a mess.

That which looks like an obstacle is actually always potentially an opening. An obstacle that seems to stop your progress in life always can potentially make you more conscious. So you can use every obstacle that arises in your life, you can accept each moment in your life as if you had chosen it, and when this moment is an obstacle, you go with it instead of complaining or running away from it. Accept the situation, and act if action is possible, or don’t act if no action is possible.-34

Sinning brought us here and only suffering will redeem us.

Such an important insight from Eckhart. Here is John (16:33) quoting Jesus: I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Your body and your mind have the power to heal anything in this lifetime. Learn to listen to your body and your intuition, as it will speak to you. These steps helped me on my journey to peace within. 1. Mediate everyday at the same time of the day 2. Cut all negative distractions outside of yourself 3. Transition to a High Vibration Diet, cut all negative foods 4. Exercise daily in anything that brings you joy 5. Spend time in nature, especially the Sun daily 6. Consume tons of crystal clear purified water daily 7. Spend time with animals, especially a dog since they are the most empathic 8. Focus on opening your 3rd eye and learn how to master it
