Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual teacher and author, born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of 29 a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. He devoted the next several years to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth-translated into over 52 languages-he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”, and Watkins Review has named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”
Eckhart’s profound, yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on awakening consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking, and can be seen as the next step in human evolution. In the awakened state of presence, we discover what Eckhart describes as our essential identity-who we are beneath the surface-and its power for transforming our selves and our world.

Eckhart is the most wonderful person on this planet and I am so grateful to him. His aura is so still, peaceful and non-judgmental. Then his sense of humor!!! It makes us laugh because he helps us realize how crazy and comical the world is living in ego. When I’m in certain situations, I often think “what would Eckhart do or tell me?” ✨✨✨

    @@johnmuvira745 This probably will sound crazy but its the 100% God honest truth. All of the entities ive seen and the poltergeist activity that just mysteriously started happening in my house after living her for sometime started right after i seen a huge Sasquatch staring at me while i was on my back porch. It was around 2am and i was smoking on my back porch when i just happen to shine my flashlight in the tree line, which was only 30 feet away from me. So i shined the light and there was a 9 to 10ft tall male Sasquatch staring at me, it absolutely blew my mind!!! Whats crazy is how human he looked, he was definitely a male and really old, he had gray poofy hair surrounding his face with gray in his long beard, he had a really long nose too. I sat there for a good 15 minutes yelling like an idiot trying to wake my brother up (he had to work but i definitely wasn't going to be the only one to see that, i could've came in the house and woke him up but i was afraid to take the light off of him, i figured he would take off, so finally after hitting my brothers window with sticks and yelling for 15 minutes, my bro finally came outside. Whats funny is at first my brother thought it was an old man just sitting in the tree line at 2-3am lol, he quickly realized how massive the big guy was. The Sasquatch didnt move a muscle the whole encounter, i even walked up to the fence in front of the tree line trying to get better video and he still didn't move, it was almost like he thought i couldn't see him. we finally left him alone but this time i went out front to smoke lol (i was a little spooked) when i was on my front porch i could hear the big guy breaking branches as he took off into the woods. Ive seen a group of three Sasquatch a few months back from a distance, i caught them in the open by a creek in a field that no one ever goes to. It was nothing like the up close encounter i had with the old Bigfoot. Ive come to learn through first hand experience with the Sasquatch people that they are literally inter dimensional, they can go invisible which is why i think that first Sasquatch i seen was acting like i couldn't see him. I have had them walk right in front of me while im in the woods breaking huge branches and not being able to see them. Also Im pretty sure they are the ones responsible for (most) the poltergeist activity happening in my house. I constantly have doors close, taps on my walls and windows constantly, heavy footsteps at night going down the hall from my bathroom to my bedroom door. Buuuut i know for a fact that its not all them, i literally seen this creature standing in the doorway of my bedroom door at 3am looking at me while i sleep. I just happened to wake up quick and looked up and there he was, he was literally only 2 to 3ft tall with real pointy troll/grimlan ears with a greenish color skin, not like an alien. He reminded me of a troll. After researching the Bigfoot i found that alot of native american tribes thought them to be very spiritual beings, they called them the "Forrest people" they believed that they would only show themselves to people that were spiritually balanced, which would explain why ive seen for in just over a year, when there are guys that have been researching them for 20-30 years and never seeing one. I think me seeing them somehow opened up a realm or something because like i said ever since that first experience i have been having a lot of weird things happen. I know that sounds crazy but like i said everything ive stated is the Gods Honest truth.

    I've always known that there was something deeper inside me, nothing in life made sense to me as a child. When I expressed that, everyone thought I was nuts. It wasn't until my 12 year old daughter said the very same things to me in tears, that I had the guts to search for these answers. My life had changed dramatically and now she is doing the inner work as well and can't imagine her life as it used to be. I feel beyond blessed and excited on my journey now. And Eckhart is one of my greatest teachers.

    I felt that way as a kid too. I had a strict Catholic upbringing, which I'm grateful for, but I always felt it was incomplete. Same with school... everything was subdivided into subjects but to me science, math, religion... gave me the impression that I had to separate everything in my brain even though to my heart it made no sense. I see God's work when I look at cells under a microscope, the night sky, the natural beauty that exists. In higher education and career it was almost a push to athiesm, believe in survival of the fittest and Darwinism which never made sense to me. Now, even science is proving we appeared 200,000 years ago with never before seen mutations that gave us advanced speech capabilities, a bigger brain, compassion & empathy. We were the intentional product of a divine consciousness. Astrophysicists tell us that planets have consciousness too, the universe is alive. God is amazing. Wow. It's sad how our education system deprograms the wisdom we're born with just so we can become easily controlled and manipulated cogs in an imaginary machine. Keep up the good work and sending prayers and love to both of you!

    So good to hear. Life can be so different when one realizes that the mind is a very powerful tool and when mis-used life can be so bleak but when we unlearn what we have taught ourselves and open our mind to our Spirit and begin to throw out all of our poor lessons we begin to change and begin to awaken to a new way of being, a new way of experiencing life. Our perceptions begin to change as our negative thoughts are replaced by thoughts of forgiveness and peace.

    Wow. I needed to hear that. I'm not fully wirhout ego, it still runs my life most of the time but I feel like I'm in a pitch black room and thre is a tiny thread of bright light, first I ran to it, now I am holding it... following it to wherever it goes. I can feel that "I" am not a body, career, or life experiences... I feel compassion greater than before. I feel like I have love that flows more easily, ironically it came from admitting my vulnerability, letting people I care for see it. That was something I'd never had the courage to do previously. It's hard for me to cry, even when i feel like it... my internal voice is a drill sergeant & very critical so this is something I have to work on. Sending love and blessings your way, friend.

    At 18 years old I received The Power of Now from an old lady in a wheel chair. She was in her 90s. She purchased the book from a book store for 1 cent. The owner of the book store had just died and they were selling everything. She drove her wheel chair over to me and gave me it. She told me I needed this book. I never saw her again. She died maybe a week after. I kept the book in my book shelf for around a year. At 19 I read it. It changed my life. I have read it several times a year since then. I eventually gave the book to a friend of mine who asked me about meditation. Right now I have 3 copies of the book and whenever anyone shows interest, I hand them a copy.

"if you can see yourself as a victim that gives you a satisfying sense of *identity* in a completely non-satisfying way... it's a paradox... you feel good about being feeling bad". Why so many seem to so loudly & desperately *identify* as something these days is where 99% of the problems come from! To a large degree this is historically where our world problems had started!

    Ego is the force of evolution itself. It's not made up or imaginary. What's imaginary is this strange abstraction he called "essence". I doubt Albert Einstein would have came up with Relativity if he wasted his time thinking his identity is anything other than a badass physicist. This "deeper self" concept is for people who have not achieved their goals and now look for a way to quit gracefully while feeling an arbitrary "enlightenment".

  • @alexandragiasimaki2428

    @alexandragiasimaki2428

    holyX Albert Einstein actually was truly awakened to the point he knew the so called "essence" Eckhart points. I believe you assume whatever you want to believe and that's ok.

  • @alexandragiasimaki2428

    holyX Also there is a difference between thinking in order to solve the problem and thinking of the past and future, which don't exist. Yes Albert Einstein was a marvellous physicist with plenty of knowledge on what he did. But, there is also a deeper knowledge within you. And If you are able to unlock that and go beyond the ego, the mind's thinking becomes accurate and straightforward. Mind is nothing but a tool. We must all learn how to use it, because until nowadays we are used by it.

    I was 23 when my uncle gave me the New Earth (Eine Neue Erde) audiobook CD on german. A few months later I was losing my mind studying a 3D software that was very important to not fail the entire program, my entire identity in this new land I moved to. So lots to lose and no family around. I felt the need to keep up my german language (nostalgia related) and remembered A New Earth. Started listening, pretty quickly I was somewhat calmed by the narrator’s voice, then my ego was telling me “wait, is this some spiritual mumbo jumbo?” But after an hour my mind was blown away by so much “sense” it all suddenly made in my head. And I was just at it for weeks. Re playing the entire audiobook back and forth. I did feel a certain overall calmness, which prepared me to fail my semester and repeat the same again 😂 But I was much less uncontrollably anxious about things that were just not in my control. I did feel a bit “better” and my ego used it as fuel to feel better about itself, as in, being better than other people around me. But there I saw another 2nd chapter to my inner conflict. And occasionally managed to let go and just “be” without overthinking about thinking. Some people are more prone to do those. A Wonderful book.

    I'd like to add my take. As a creator, or artist, following your divine blueprint, following what shines out to you, doing what you truly want, is eternally fulfilling. Loving people is eternally fulfilling. When something resonates with the divine, it is eternal. You never forget it, and you're always satisfied. When you think back on it, it doesn't feel like "oh, I wish I had that again... I need it again..." but rather, it feels like "Ah, so nice. I feel it now. Ah, so fulfilling." and the sense that you're going to remember it even after your life.

    The ego carries so many traps for us, I do my best but in 2021 in London, these traps come in, especially the spiritual ego for me ❤️✌️🙏

    Living in Presence is impossible for narcissistic people. Their ego's have run rampant. Don't be taken advantage of by these self-centered people! They are barriers to the truth. They live in a mirage. Don't enable them!!! Don't "cast your pearls at swine"!!!
