Sighișoara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Romania. It is well worth visiting.
According to the local information I have read, the locals put a lot of effort to keep its authentic look. They surely know how to make those houses colorfully eye-catching and appealing! It’s not always easy to create such a harmoniously colorful appearance for the whole town. I have seen so many orange roofs all over the Europe ( not complaining 😅), and beautiful blue & white ones in Greece. Yes, they are all beautiful! However, it is very refreshing to see a town with so many mixing colors that are illuminating and delightful. The town has done a marvelous job!
It was very pleasant wandering around the old town on the cobblestone streets and seeing several cat 🐈 friends.
The train ride from Bucharest to Sighișoara was about 6 hours.
